On Friday Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael reacted to a report from Sam Amick of the Athletic that the Atlanta Hawks are willing to listen to trade offers for John Collins.

“It’s a really interesting decision they (Atlanta Hawks) have to make…you can trade him in the season but if the Hawks trade John Collins right now, they’re terrible. They’re bad. Like they’re not going to win any games. They thought with all the depth and all the stuff they picked up in the offseason and the progression of some of these other guys they’d be able to maybe see where they are at and maybe deal with it. Thanks to injuries and some guys not progressing, they can’t afford to not have John Collins on the court right now,” said Andy in reaction to Amick’s report.

“They (Hawks) got an option there (at Power Forward) if they do (trade Collins) but Gallinari (Danilo Gallinari) is not where he needs to be. I don’t think Gallinari is a better player than John Collins, I think he is a better shooter but not a better player,” Randy added.

“A one-hundred percent healthy Gallinari isn’t a better than John Collins,” Andy added.

Andy and Randy were joined by Atlanta Braves play-by-play man for Fox Sports South, Chip Caray. Chip talked about position battles, the bullpen, if this year's Braves are better than last year's Braves and what the starting rotation will look like this season.

Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael brought back a part of the interview they did with Radio.com insider and NFL writer for The Athletic, Michael Lombardi, who spoke about how good of a hire Arthur Smith was for the Atlanta Falcons.

“It’s the same thing you kind of hear about Dean Pees as well as a defensive coordinator. They (Arthur Smith and Dean Pees) get the most out of their talent, maybe even more out of their talent than other guys would get…obviously that’s what you want to say about your Coach,” said Andy in reaction to Lomardi’s comments on Arthur Smith.

“He (Arthur Smith) is an innovative mind with an old school approach…He believes in the physicality of what wins football games up front, punishing people. But he also knows that if you don’t have that style yet, play to your players’ strengths,” Randy added.
