The Midday Show

In the second hour of today's show Andy and Randy talk about what to expect at Falcons mandatory minicamp this week before replaying Dukes and Bell's interview with Atlanta Braves General Manager Alex Anthopolous. Then Wendy Adams joined the show for "The Wendy Zone."

In the first hour of today's show Andy and Randy talk about all of the action in last night's Braves/Pirates game, Dallas Keuchel's strong start for the Rome Braves and all of the storylines from Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

On the last hour of Middays with Andy and Randy, they let the Atlanta Sports world What's Trending again. Andy and Robb replayed their interview with Coach Quinn and of course they ended the show like always, Ask Me Anything.

On Did You Hear This? Andy and Robb reacted to some clips from the Dan Quinn interview as well as Michael Parkhurst talking spicy in his interview with The Morning Show. UGA may be the first school to have the number one draft pick for the NBA, MLB, and NFL.

Andy and Robb start this hour off with an NFL No Huddle. They talked about Cam Newton finally being cleared to throw the football and Todd McShay may have a job in the Jets front office. Dan Quinn joined The Midday Show to talk about mandatory mini-camp, which starts tomorrow.

Atlanta Falcons Head Coach Dan Quinn joined Andy Bunker and Robb Tribble to talk about a variety of topics including Coach Quinn's relationship with Falcons defensive end Vic Beasley.

Bunker asked the following question about Vic Beasley, "You said that by the end of the spring he (Beasley) will either love you or hate you, well spring is over in eleven days. Where is the relationship at with Vic Beasley?"

“To be continued. We didn't get as much time as I hoped we would so we will have to continue that as we get through training camp. But I have had good communication with him, he knows the thing he needed to work on. We are anxious to get back and he will put some good work over the next 3 days. We will recapture it and get going on it again at Training Camp,” said Coach Quinn.

Atlanta Falcons Head Coach Dan Quinn joined Andy Bunker and Robb Tribble and talked about a variety of topics heading into Mandatory Minicamp.

“We have had some awesome practices and it will only get better when we get all those guys in the mix. Adding them to these other practices will give us a big boost,” said Coach Quinn.

“That group has the most competition. Guys are going to battling for starting spots and roster spots,” replied Coach Quinn when asked about the offensive line.

“Some of the scheme we look real familiar. Through free agency and the draft that’s what we all looking for. It all goes through the run game. Everything flows through that,” said Coach Quinn in regards to anything different about the scheme of the offensive line.

“Were guarded at the beginning of the offseason about Devonta Freeman. But the Atlanta running back has been cutting violently, working well and that ‘s a good thing for the Falcons heading into the summer,” said Quinn when asked if he was concerned about Freeman’s health.

“Some of the new coaches were surprised how quickly these relationships could be built. Having that connection on the field and off the field provides some real value,” said Coach Quinn about the new coaches on this staff.

“These guys attack. The boldness on special teams. On offense, it’s the run/pass. Defense getting after the ball. It’s all three phases, it’s not just one. We will relentlessly attack and that is the identity of this team,” said Coach Quinn.

“To be continued. I didn’t get to spend as much time with him as I would like. We are anxious to get back and he will put some good work over the next few days,” said Coach Quinn.

Today on the Midday Show Randy is out. No worries, Andy is here with a guest, Robb Tribble. They break down how well Acuna played this weekend. They spoke on the Braves sweeping the Marlins. Of course like every day What's Trending and more on the Braves.

In hour 2 Andy goes "NFL No Huddle".
