The Midday Show

Fox Sports South’s Jerome Jurenovich joined Andy Bunker and talked about the Hawks/Nets trade and the Braves signing of Dallas Keuchel.

In hour 3 Andy goes over the most popular sports stories of the week.

Andy Bunker explains why Ronald Acuña Jr.'s homerun last night against José Ureña should put an end to the silly unwritten rules of baseball.

"Acuna handled the situation perfectly. He hit a homerun off Ureña and proved that he is better than him by being better than him," said Bunker.

Bunker also talked about how great Acuña's bat flip was.

"I wouldn't be surprised if Don Mattingly (Marlins General Manager) decided to plunk Acuña during today's game because that is what you are supposed to do right?" said Bunker.

In hour 1 Andy talks about the Braves and Ronals Acunas great game against Urena.

In hour 1 Andy and Bryant McFadden talk about the big time aquisition that the Braves made on Thursday.

In hour 4 Andy and Bryant talk about the Hawks big trade

Andy Bunker and Bryant McFadden broke down the impact of the Atlanta Braves signing former Houston Astros Cy Young winner Dallas Keuchel yesterday.

Both Bunker and McFadden agreed that the Keuchel signing puts the Braves in the driver’s seat to win the National League East.

Bunker talked about how Keuchel will be making a start for the Gwinnett Stripers tomorrow and how this signing allows the Braves to make even more moves between now and the trade deadline on July 31st.

In hour 3 Andy and Bryant listen to the most important audio in the universe and speak with 929 Braves analyst Paul Crane.

Andy Bunker and Bryant McFadden were joined by 92.9 The Game Falcons insider Jarvis Davis to talk about the last day at OTA's and what's going on with players that haven't been there: Grady Jarrett and Vic Beasley.

Andy Bunker and Bryant McFadden discussed the impact that Brian McCann may have had on the Atlanta Braves bringing in starting pitcher and former Houston Astros Dallas Keuchel.

“I think he helped out during the recruiting process. It’s huge to have those relationships when joining a new team,” said McFadden.

Bunker talked about how good a postseason career Keuchel has had and the pedigree he brings with him to Atlanta.

Bunker also spoke about how valuable Keuchel will be as most likely the third starter in this starting rotation.
