Rick and John continued to examine the Falcons defense and whether its championship level. Rick and John talked about how many interceptions the defense needs to make per game and Rick has them at one per game. Rick thinks the Falcons have one of the most balanced defenses in the NFL and thinks the offense and defense are both top 5 in the NFL. Rick and John talked about how the other defenses around the NFL are ranked compared to the Falcons. Took calls.

One More Round… Atlanta United play Orlando City Sunday at six o’clock and they expect to take care of business and get out of town. Rick questioned if they would be playing for a win or draw in Florida. CCV chimed in that you always want to get a point on the road. Braves play Marlins, and then head to Chicago to finish the series with the Cubs that was postponed. R&J talked about the Braves lineup and how it could change for Jose Bautista depending and his contributions. Rick said he will not be happy unless the Braves get 3 out of 4. John expects them to sweep the Braves. John read a tweet from ESPN’s Wojo saying the Hawks and Pierce are close to an agreement on their vacant head-coaching job. Kamla went off on a tangent because Brad Stevens didn’t get a single vote for COY. Falcon’s mini-camp underway at Flowery Branch. Rick mentioned Mike Budenholzer will get some serious looks from NBA teams with open vacancies.
