Rich and John open the show talking about the Braves taking 3 out of 4 over the Marlins. Now the Braves have the best record in the National League. Can they keep this high power offense going? Atlanta United beats Orlando City 2-1 Sunday night. Barco scores his 2nd goal of the season. The 5 Stripes have won the same amount of road games this season as the did all of last season. And Falcons rookie training camp, Dan Quinn's thoughts on Ridley, Gage, and Senat.

They got to the Lloyd Pierce Press Conference and he talks about how excited he is to be in Atlanta. They go over his resume and relationships made over his coaching career. He stresses growth and development from everyone involved with the Hawks. 

Post PC, John breaks down exactly who Lloyd Pierce is and what we, as Hawks fan can/should expect. John says he brings a little from each teams he has coached for. He doesnt think its fair to compare it to Coach Bud. This is a new Hawks team and Pierce will John reminds the fans to trust the process. Rick returns and is very impressed with what he saw. Rich and John make their bold predictions for the upcoming NCAA Football season. Who has a better chance of winning their conference Michigan or West Virginia?  Will UCF go undefeated again or lose 6 games? Will Georgia Tech win the Coastal?

The NFL Bounce has news on the Falcons D Line and we hear from DQ on the rookies at mini camp. They talk about JJ Watt and any concerns from the Texans. Rick thinks Luck may be done as he still has not thrown a football since 2017. Rick thinks his playing days are behind him. They talk about what the plans are for the Hawks and what position he looks to work on. They move to football and he admits that he is still a Raiders fan and musically, he goes to New Edition. 

Waiting on Lloyd Pierce and we Tell The Truth. John gave his wife a bonsai tree for Mothers Day, Rick had a pop up party in the boathouse, but didn't get drunk. Rick also tells the truth about the Braves and he thinks Snitker didn't handle one of the games right. Mark talks about his beach trip and how he 

got burned so easily. Then Hawks Head Coach Lloyd Pierce stops by. He talks about coming to Atlanta, his vision, his former players and coaches that he still looks to for advice. They talk about what the plans are for the Hawks and what position he looks to work on. They move to football and he admits that he is still a Raiders fan and musically, he goes to New Edition. They agree that he is cool and smooth and regardless of what he does with the team as a coach, he's a really good guy.  Rick queried John about his cleanse and commented on his more frequent trips to the bathroom. John explained his diet, workout and being on day 6 of his cleanse and told us when you have to go you have to go. Rick pivoted to saying he cleansed his twitter feed last night of the number of people he follows on social media. If you weren’t following Rick, he deleted you and only kept people that are following him. John explained the nuances of social media and how to follow and unfollow people. CCV sitting in for MO who is on another 3-day weekend. Joked about CCV and Mark having more vacation than anyone does on the station. That’s What’s Up… Braves keep winning. Played audio of Albies grand slam. Roquan Smith has some of his gear return and the guy was a UGA student Lane Shane Durham. Played audio of Roquan thanking the Athens Police for finding his stuff and the perpetrator. Talked about our music selection this week being David Hasselhoff thanks to our Vision computer twitter poll. Rick and John examined the Falcons defense, graded positions judged if they are a championship defense and ranked them against other NFC defenses. John talked about the star power on defense running down the names of players he considers to be in that category. Rick questioned if the Falcons front office will bring in more people for the line, who they might be and that they definitely should. Rick told John it feels like DQ and TD have split the $8.5 M from Poe into multiple players on the defense. Rick thinks the Falcons will have a top 10 offense and defense this year in the NFL. Rick & John graded the LB’s A-. Read Between the Lines… Steve Kerr – on the Warriors being hungry and them having rings which is a good position to be, David Price – says playing video games has nothing to do with how he pitches, Kevin Love – says drama follows LeBron everywhere he goes, Brian Snitker – talking about what Freddie Freeman is capable of.​

Rick and John continued to talk about the Falcons defense and questioned whether it is top 10 in the league. Squirrel – John asked Rick the last time he actually cooked something. John mentioned the ingredients on the defense that include the players who gel together to make it cohesive and possibly a top 10 defense in the league. Rick talked about how consistent the defense has been lately and rattle off specific players and what they bring to the field. Rick and John graded the secondary a B+. Rick mentioned a story from pro football focus naming the best safeties in the NFL but neglected Keanu Neal. Went sideways again talking about making special orders at fast food restaurants so, they get it the way they want it with extra stuff. Took a call.

Braves Breakdown… Rick compared the Braves to the Falcons with a top 10 offense and defense in MLB. Rick and John compared the Braves to the Yankees and the Red Sox with their salaries, and compared how their offense are similar. Rick compared the stats of the Braves to the rest of MLB and where that puts them overall. John mentioned the difference between the home and away splits with the Braves and how the Braves pitchers need to learn how to pitch at home or just out slug the other team. Rick and John talked about the launching pad STP is becoming known as around the league. John mentioned major free agents the Braves could be looking at in the offseason. John also talked about all the youth on this team that would be appealing to a veteran player looking for a good lineup. Rick said Bautista has until Swanson comes back from injury to get his act together at third base or he’ll put Camargo their instead. John told Rick that Toronto just fired Dwayne Casey as their Head Coach and Rick lost his mind.

CFB Cheat Sheet… Where does Jake Fromm rank on Athlon sports SEC QB list? Jake came in at #5 and Rick was Ok with only one of the QB’s in front of him and that was Tua from Alabama. Rick and John debated where they would put Fromm on the SEC QB list. Also debated other QB’s in CFB and where they should land on the Athlon list according to R&J. ​
