  We've been a couple of busy bees these past few weeks, but it's great to get back into the podcasting chairs, talk race cars with your buddy, and have a few laughs. We've got it dialed right where we need it, can any midfield teams say the same? Dan looks to solve this and many other mysteries this episode. With the recent speculation of Isack Hadjar signing with Red Bull for 2026, we make the bold decision to take over the Team Principal role for all of the current Midfield squads. We sign one driver to a 2-year deal, and let the other driver go. 

Who will we choose on each team? Youth? Experience? Neither? Both? The rules don't apply when Patrick makes his own rules.

  Welcome back Midfielders!

It's the summer break, so it's time for us to kick back and let our friends do all the work! We brought in our best bud Mark Schofield for another go around. He's got great news and even greater picks, so let's slither like snakes on into this one!

14:20 - We get to know our good buddy Mark and he tells us the Chihuahua Story. Then it's finally time for some race cars. We go over who's been most impressive during the first half of the season, and give Mark the keys to the kingdom.

45:50 - On to the fooseball! We burn our picks of the AFC and then the NFC. A few surprises and a few obvious choices. As always with Mark, we make our Superbowl predictions and laugh at the AFC South. Sorry gang.

  Welcome back Midfielders!

We had a little hiatus in the studio so we've got a jam packed episode of a DOUBLE recap to get into, but first, Dan's got some housekeeping to do for a change! We move some midfield constructors around and get into all the juicy details of two of our favorite tracks of the year. Let's burn some rubbah!

11:55 - All straightened up and ready to rock, we head back in time! Patrick doesn't know flags, and Dan botches a Dumb and Dumber quote- a rarity folks, believe me. We get real juicy. Too many kids at the races! Curious does big arms, and Dan gives us a lesson as to where they came from. Ollie bloops.

29:06 - Spa's outta the way and it's onto the Hungaroring! You cheeky ****'s Aston Martin! No upgrades... pshhh... get outta here. It's been a grip, so we find some nice things to say about our green boi. Tomfoolery and Space Invaders, super-cool double-helicopter shots! Tip of the cap to you F1 production teams. Bad Ollie, bad.

45:00 - A couple fun Darth moments, cause why not? Sister teams and other gripes. 2 teams 3 cars you know the deal. Chucks got a case of the THINGS and maybe this leads to other things? Maybe some cheatin' afoot?! We can only pray that Ferrari's "chassis" is okay.

55:55 - Sauber gets passed in the standings but still looks strong. Dan poses a great hypothetical that would have required a wellness check last February. Only God himself can drive the Redbull, just ask Yuki. Can Williams' early season points hold them till the end? Or will we maybe see a second-half resurgence on the grid for our boys in blue? Albon's done for the year.

  Welcome BACK Midfielders!

We've got another humdinger of an episode! We're halfway through the season and it's time to set our expectations and speculations for the remainder of '25. We break it down team by team and then look ahead again to Spa, again. My elder-cat has taken up residence on my lower back as I type this, so let's dive in!

9:35 - Is Ferrari stepping out like Lewis' slippery back end? Without much discernable motivation, we think these guys will be pumping the brakes real hard. We dip into Mercedes and have some trouble navigating those waters without saying the NAME yet again. Dan get's down with a TRIPLE DING!

10:45 - Check the tape baby! Patrick shares his vast knowledge of German culture, and with that his thoughts for Mercedes' plan for the rest of the season. Is the great Ding-a-nator in the perfect pickle? We snack some beans and load up the scoreboard yet again. Beef Ramen.

20:40 - What is happening at Red Bull? We have no clue, and we're concerned; neither do they. The biggest question mark, the thickest of fogs, we sense a gutting of the Jr's in the future. Otmar with a pimp cup. We can predict the future while stroking our egos. Bits and bobs.

27:25 - Yet. Another. Bean. Sweet packages bro.

45:20 - House money for Sauber. Put it all on black and green and let it ride baby! Keep that gravy train a-rollin'! The Jr's are also a huge question mark, as they'll certainly be gutted. At least the barometer will still be around. 

49:10 - Aston gets the airtime they deserve and it's on to Haas. Can the bad bois just try-hard their way past the Aston's in the latter stages. Likely! Probably without even trying that hard. Just keep it out of the penalty box Ollie.

27:20 - Red cars' mystical-magical consistency machine! 5 and 6 = 2, 'cause maths. The Pittsburg Steelers of F1. We find the Mercedes issue to be the rookie, as G***** makes Patty have another bean. 7-14 Dan over Patrick in the battle of the beans. To fold or not to fold? That is the question.

  You already know it's gonna be a Hulk heavy episode! Us, them, they, everyone and their dog is all Kick Sauber right now. As the man who carried us to our P10 challenge victory in '24, we have long-tenured adoration for our midfield maniac. One of the original Bad Bois of Haas, our Midfield caps are off to you Nico, way to honk.

22:00 - P2! - ish? We're working our way through, this is why we don't usually give Patrick the reigns. James Vowells and finger guns baby! Stay on track, stay focused. Get over your bleeding eyes, and go put 'em on Ollie hitting the wall in his pit lane approach. Truly a thing of beauty, as we crown our next Bad Boi.

33:05 - Quali time! Have we mentioned we love Silverstone yet? Just in case, we'll do it a few more times. Put more fuel in me boy! Dan ends up being the winner of the Williams V. Aston battle we sort of paid attention to over the weekend. Becketts and maggots and plurals and dorks.

42:35 - We hate the youth! Anti-mega! We're finally to race day! Guess what? Checo's not here! There's also a missed ding in here, but it can be our lil' secret. We break down this week's P10 pick mayhem. KMAG sighting! We derail yet again, big surprise.

73:15 - Benotto hair cut? Lance is a potty mouth and a poor sport, so we decided to skip saying nice things about him this week. We get REALLY excited for a race coming up in a few weeks. It's our favorite so we jumped the gun a lil bit. Don't forget your rubber chunks!
