The Tate brothers' lawyer just claimed Andrew Tate turned down a $50 million bribe from "the powers that be," and he is dragging Trump into it with new threats if the White House does not bail them out. There was no bribe, folks, and the rest of their case is collapsing too: US prosecutors say their own Romanian lawyer's filing contradicts their entire argument, and court documents even exposed the "alpha male" act as fake. These two are guilty as sin, they are obvious flight risks, and no dancing protest is going to save them. Send them to the UK and let a jury do the rest.

Army Secretary Dan Driscoll just resigned after warning Trump the Iran war was failing, and Trump reportedly could only talk about his ballroom. Add in the slurring, the snapping at reporters over a nuke question he clearly forgot he raised, and falling asleep while Dr. Oz talked about dementia, and even Congressman Ted Lieu is now demanding the White House explain the hospital visits and cognitive tests. The man is not well, nobody in Washington will say it, and the only fix is a massive blue wave. Vote in November.

Mike Nellis and Jack Cocchiarella LIVE on Substack — Thursdays at 10am ET
Hey folks,
Jack Cocchiarella and I got into it on this one—in the best way.
We started with Barron Trump, the Tate brothers, and the questions Democrats should be asking. Then we ended up having a much bigger, much more spirited debate about power, propaganda, whether Democrats need to play dirtier, and what it actually takes to beat the right.
This one went places.
[00:02:11] Why independent media keeps breaking the stories the mainstream press eventually has to confront—and the questions surrounding Barron Trump and the Tate brothers.
[00:12:16] We come back to Barron, accountability, and why Democrats can’t be afraid to investigate powerful members of the Trump orbit.
[00:25:17] Jack makes the case that Democrats spend too much time asking voters what they want instead of shaping the political environment—and I push back.
[00:39:09] We get into what Democrats actually need to do with power: ditch the old rulebook, take risks, remake institutions, and deliver material results.
[00:52:18] Jack gives his final, extremely Jack take on the American people—and I offer a slightly more optimistic closing argument.
This conversation is really about something bigger than any one Trump story. It’s about how Democrats respond to a political system where the other side has spent years exploiting institutions, manipulating narratives, and accumulating power. Jack and I don’t agree on every tactic—and you’ll definitely hear that—but we agree that Democrats cannot keep playing by a rulebook that no longer exists.
If you value honest conversations where we can disagree, push each other, and still fight for the same bigger goal, help me keep them going.

Joe Rogan just went viral for a clip where he sounds like a full-blown socialist, saying we could end poverty in America tomorrow if the rich people running corporations and government would just agree to it. This is the same guy who endorsed Donald Trump, platformed him in 2024, and helped elect the most corrupt president in American history, the exact people making poverty and healthcare worse, and Mark Maron nailed it: a lot of these guys are grifters and pawns who got used. Your vote is a reflection of your values, not what you say on a podcast. Stop retreating and start engaging.

Andrew Tate just claimed the Taliban offered him political asylum, in a leaked video his own paying supporters funded while he sits in a Miami detention facility fighting extradition to the UK. The leaks keep coming, and they are shredding the bail case his lawyer Joe McBride has been spinning in court all week, right as UK lawyer Matthew Jury revealed the defense's own Romanian filing does not back up their dramatic "life in prison" claim. These two built a fake empire on manipulation, and now it is all catching up with them. Let the courts decide. The women they hurt deserve their day in court.

The cover story on Trump's marriage just fell apart. Trump biographer Michael Wolff reports Melania hasn't spent a single night in the White House since Trump returned to power nearly 600 days ago, with a top Trump aide telling him flat out "she hates his guts," and she only resurfaced after the questions about Natalie Harp got too loud. This is a sham marriage propping up a sham presidency, and we are going to keep pulling these threads. Wake the hell up.

The Tate brothers' "War Room" just leaked, and it is blowing up their bail case and putting the Trump White House on the spot. Leaked videos show Andrew Tate teaching men to stack passports and residencies to flee the law, which is exactly why a judge should call them flight risks, while their lawyer Joe McBride spins conspiracy theories and Trump and Marco Rubio decide whether to save two men with no utility left to offer. Let the extradition happen and let the UK courts do their job. That's how it's supposed to work.

Republicans just rolled out a new excuse for Mitch McConnell's disappearance, claiming he'll magically return September 14th to save the farm bill after 75 days with no proof of life, not even a 20 second video. Meanwhile the committee he chairs is deadlocked, farm bankruptcies are up 46%, and Democrats are leading in Iowa and Ohio while farmers foreclose under Trump's tariffs, all because the GOP would rather cover for an 84 year old they refuse to remove than move their own bill. If McConnell doesn't show up, this cover-up could cost Republicans the Senate. Wake the hell up.
