During the second hour Rob Pratte contiued talking about the special election and which candidate is going to create more jobs.  

Rob Pratte in for Mike Pintek today talked about President Trump and his desire to win and get things done, the tariffs he is imposing on steel and aluminum, and a little about the 18th District Speical Election.  

During the first hour Mike Pintek talked about the Amazon Alexa and it randomly laughing at randon times, and how your smartphone and smart devices are listening in on your conversations and falling you around.  Mike thinks it is creepy!  He also talked about the FBI and how they paid Geek Squad and Best Buy to look through people's devices that were in for repair.  

PennDOT District 11 Executive Cheryl Moon-Sirianni joined Mike Pintek to discuss the worst pothole season she can remember and the upcoming 2018 construction season while taking questions from listeners.  

Mike opens the show talking to guest and KDKA political analyst, Bill Green about the 18th district congressional race in PA. 

Mike and Green then go into the subject of gun control and what state legislators are doing to prevent school shootings.

With guns being a hot topic of discussion following yet another school shooting, Mike discusses what he thinks is the problem and how taking guns away from law abiding citizens fixes nothing, 

Mike Pintek talked with his listeners about the deadly school shooting that happened yesterday in Parkland, Florida.  a 19-year-old boy went on a shooting spree in the high school he was expelled from killing 17 people.  Mike also touched on two churches in the Pittsburgh area that were trying out drive throughs to get ashes on Ash Wednesday.  And lastly he talked about McDonald's doing away with cheese burgers and chocolate milk in kids happy meals. 

Chris Moore filled in for Mike Pintek. He was joined by professor emeritus at the University of Massachusetts Thomas Ferguson about the real trouble in American politics: dark money. Callers then weighed in on what should be done about money in politics.
