This week I'm paying tribute to someone who recently passed away from Stage 4 lung cancer by doing a song of his that I think you might know but not by his original version of the song. this song was covered in the 70's by a Swedish band and their version was used in recent years in a BIG hit movie with millennials, so you might know the song from that version of it but you might not have heard the original version of the song (which was done by him), so that is what I"m covering in this week's podcast, so as per usual, I talk about what makes this song so good musically and lyrically, and next week, I'll dive into BJ's history as an artist and talk about his ups and downs with his career and the behind the scenes details on his songs as well. here's the link to this week's song just in case you wanted to listen to it:

This week's song & artist is someone who tended to write about things that were dark & scary and many of his songs had an edge about them that was everything but innocent & fun, which contradicted a lot of the other music that was coming out at the same time he was coming up under. he also had a big following in another country that was influential in a huge wave of music that was coming for the American charts shortly after his heyday as a musician/songwriter. Hey Guys! So I know it's been a while since I have last uploaded an episode of my podcast, and it's because I unintentionally took a break from doing this podcast, primarily because I was torn as to what I should do about my hosting service situation. you see, I was going to move my podcast entirely to Anchor, but then I realized that I would loose all of my information in regards to my analytics for my podcast, so all of the listeners I have built up since starting this podcast originally would be lost and I would have to start from zero all over again. So with that being said, I decided to stay with the one I was with, and I was able to upgrade to one of their paid plans so I won't get kicked out of their system and risk my account getting terminated.
