In this episode I explore the benefits of physical activity as a treatment for chronic disease and to prevent illness.
According to the World Health Organization, if exercise were a drug and everyone took it, it could save 3.2 million lives per year. Lack of exercise or physical inactivity is the 4th leading contributor to death in the world.
Physically activity is superior to most medical intervention for the prevention and reversal of disease, (according to research on heart disease, type two diabetes and other chronic diseases).
Active living is a human need and the benefits go way beyond weight loss.
