It would be very easy to wake up every morning and fear what is ahead. All around us we hear the fear in people's voices and the doubt they have in what they see. So in this episode I look at three examples of people in the bible who also were afraid but because of their strengthened faith, the began to put their trust in God.

In part two of my interview with Heather Gaines she discusses the importance of accountability, her tremendous faith in God, and her dependence now on exercise and a strong prayer life. And yes she has a very strong opinion about whether God cares about our desire to care of our physical bodies and how the mind, body, and soul all work together.
A fractured skull, a blown-out knee and a deep-fried hand. Lines of coke and guitar gods. A rape. Five broken hearts and another rape. Did I mention cancer? Heather Gaines survived that and more and talks about a life stolen by drugs, alcohol, and dangerous choices. She came out on the other side with a smile on her face and a story to share. Sober and clean since 2006, she now lives an active, vibrant life in Key West, Florida as a stand-up paddleboard instructor and tour guide.
