The Death of Comfort: Why God Didn't Call You to Be Cozy

Everyone wants to be called. But, few are willing to become the people God would choose.

We pray for the blessing, but still cling to comfort. We want the anointing, but we're addicted to average. We dream about the calling while cutting corners, choosing ease, and expecting God to honor mediocrity. . .

Here's the truth the modern church won't tell you: God does NOT call us to comfort. Jesus didn't recruit disciples to live cozy lives, He called them to suffer well, to press on, to share in His crucifixion before His resurrection.

In this episode, we're dismantling the dangerous lie that you can have God's purpose without His process. I dive into:

Philippians 3:10, 13-14 - Paul's radical desire to know Christ through suffering, and his relentless pursuit of the prize by forgetting what's behind and straining toward what's ahead
