The “New Normal” as so many are calling it, with near post-apocalyptic emotions attached and the promise of a new world with a new way of doing things. It almost elicits the same emotions as an abusive husband who promises his estranged spouse that “this time things will be different” and “I have changed, I promise”.
Yet when we look back at history and the catastrophes that have befallen humankind, with the majority of these calamities being of our own making, have we truly entered a “New Normal” or is it merely the shock of yet another close-call that has jarred us from our behavioural and unconscious reverie?
So, before we delve into empty promises of “we solemnly swear”, let's look at a few behavioural facts that has brought us to our current global dilemma and what needs to change in order to minimalise any similar future scenarios that threaten to mimic our current assimilated experience.
The question we should all be asking is: "Is the 'new normal' a place of creation or is it a place of incarceration?"
The choice remains in all of our hands. Either we choose to take action and stand together, with an attitude of unity and camaraderie, or we risk being driven to extinction by the greed and ego of a human race who are blind to our own power and who chooses an attitude of negligence.
Technically, family is a matter of DNA... But nobody who says “I want a family,” means “I want a group of genetically similar people.”
We don’t have to swear allegiance based solely on the blood running through our veins.
For whatever the reason that we can’t be with our blood-bound families of origin, there’s so much to be said for choosing someone to stand in their place. Emphasis on “choosing”, because unlike actual family, we get to pick them:people who share similar views, people who understand, people who accept, people who forgive, people who love.
This “chosen family” is truly a gift from above and there’s a level of comfort and familiarity that you just don’t achieve with regular “acquaintances”.
These are the friendships and relationships that are next-level, and on a personal level... I’m here for them, because they’re here for me: the family I chose in the absence of my own.
Family is the best and most important gift in our lives, and it is important to embrace and appreciate it every day.
Our brains are truly amazing, aren’t they?
Have you ever watched one of those TV shows or Documentaries about someone who experienced an amazing, unexpected recovery after a traumatic brain injury, stroke, or other brain damage?
Some of those stories seem like the only explanation is pure magic or miraculous, instead of science.
Although it does seem inexplicable, scientists have been hard at work studying these cases over the last several decades, and have found the explanation behind the magic: Neuroplasticity
Neuroplasticity refers to the brain’s ability to adapt.
Our brains are truly extraordinary; unlike computers, which are built to certain specifications and receive software updates periodically, our brains can actually receive hardware updates in addition to software updates.
Different pathways form and fall dormant, are created and are discarded, according to our experiences.
And with "experiences" I mean the demands we put on our brains.
When we learn something new, we create new connections between our neurons. We literally rewire our brains to adapt to new circumstances.
And even though this happens automatically and unconsciously on a daily basis, it’s also something that we can encourage and stimulate by conscious choice.
Is ambition enough?
What’s the difference between drive, ambition and motivation; and why does it matter?
The answers to these questions may seem self-evident, but in fact, they are actually quite complex, because they come from within the same complex organism, the same body, the same mind that has both the capabilities to create amazing things as well to destroy the very planet we all inhabit.
Ambition works as a paradigm, a framework, a mindset in this world of striving.
It’s a combination of:
It also takes an incredible amount of willpower, and the self-discipline of a celibate monk in the Playboy Mansion.
That doesn’t mean it’s not possible, but there is a reason the top 10% of society makes over a million or more annually, and the rest simply do not.

How do we use our thoughts and what we say to cast a spell on ourselves and those people and things around us…?
Is there a science to it or is it a supernatural occurrence?
As we “give birth” to thoughts and we speak them into reality, is it possible to measure our thoughts and the impact our “spell casting” has on our reality…?
There is no ambiguity in our minds about our daily dealings in thoughts. It’s intuitive and we don’t need to explain it to anyone, or even to ourselves.
And yet if we do set about trying to describe a thought, it is profoundly difficult to do so.
So how do we go about casting spells and when we do, how do we control the results?

Success is not normal; it is unusual and in fact insane.
There is no such thing as “NORMAL”.
There is only “socially acceptable”.
Normal, hardworking people, very rarely become successful.
Normal people work very hard at their jobs to barely make ends meet.
They spend money they don’t have, to buy things they don’t need, to impress people they don’t even know or like.
In a world fascinated with and focused on conformity, mediocrity is seen as sanity.
People are, unfortunately, content living up to the status quo.
Being crazy is not just about thinking outside the box, it is creating the box that normal people will think inside of.
Here are ten benefits of being crazy…

Depression drains your energy, hope, motivation and drive, making it difficult to take steps that will help you feel better.
While overcoming depression isn’t necessarily “quick and easy”, it’s far from impossible and you have a lot more power and control than you realize.
The key is to start small, build momentum, keep the momentum going and take constant action towards where you want to be.
The challenge though is that merely “thinking your way out of depression” has proven to be a losing battle for most, because the exact actions that will get you out of depression are often times the most difficult to cultivate, especially when you are experiencing a deep sense of depression.
So let’s look at 6 tips that will get you out of the dark hole of depression and get you moving towards a state of joy and upliftment.

We all know that living a “balanced life” is what most (if not all) of us are striving for.
But what exactly is a balance life and how is it achieved...?
Is it even possible to achieve the elusive “balance” in a world where change is the only constant?
Let’s look at 5 things you can do to not only get a better understanding of what it means to live a balanced life, but also how you can go about creating it within your own life.
What inspires someone to become a professional thief?
What goes on inside the mind of a “career criminal”? (And NO, I’m not referring to politicians)
Where does one start, to even consider designing a lifestyle that involves the removal of valuable items from a person and then (perhaps) putting them back later… Sometimes even without their knowledge?
How and where would you learn a skill-set like this…?
Join me as we interview a remarkable pickpocket, whom has not only stolen the watches of the king of Dubai as well as the former prime minister of the United Kingdom, Margaret Thatcher, but he has also successfully pick-pocketed the late president of South Africa, Nelson Mandela… TWICE
In this episode we find out all of the above and more, as we get some fascinating inside information and behind-the-scenes stories about a realm where anything is possible and magic is something very tangible.

Anger is a normal, healthy emotion. But it’s unhealthy when it flares up all the time or spirals out of control. Chronic, explosive anger has serious consequences for your relationships, your health, and your state of mind. The good news is that getting anger under control is easier than you think. With insight about the real reasons for your anger and these anger management tools, you can learn to keep your temper from hijacking your life.
The emotion of anger is neither good nor bad. Like any emotion, it’s conveying a message, telling you that a situation is upsetting, or unjust, or threatening. If your kneejerk reaction to anger is to explode, however, that message never has a chance to be conveyed.
So, while it’s perfectly normal to feel angry when you’ve been mistreated or wronged, anger becomes problematic when you express it in a way that harms yourself or others.
If you have a hot temper, you may feel like it’s out of your hands and there’s little you can do to tame the beast.
You have more control over your anger than you think. You can learn to express your emotions without hurting others.
