In 2016 Maki Itoh made the jump from the idol group LinQ to Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, an offshoot of the notoriously eccentric Japanese wrestling promotion DDT. Since then she's taught us more about the millennial condition than we ever imagined we'd learn from pro wrestling.

Join your hosts Luke and Tara as they chart Itoh's career progression from delusional egomaniac to more-or-less proper wrestler, and discuss a range of topics from the birth of the alt-Idol movement and mental health provision in Japanese high schools, to surviving 21st-century work culture and blocking running knee strikes with your head
