When we see our brother as a body, we are limiting our awareness of the One True Self. We are depriving ourself from the vision of love. Do we really believe that an image, a body, is more powerful than the love of God? A Course in Miracles tells us, "Only you can deprive yourself of anything. Do not oppose this realization, for it is truly the beginning of the dawn of light." We’ll practice meditation Lesson 151 from the workbook of A Course in Miracles: "All things are echoes of the Voice for God." We will also be joined by A Course in Miracles teacher and Reiki master teacher Karla LaVoie. Karla is a fellow for the Association of Music and Imagery and is the author of For Time and All Eternity: Love Never Dies.

In March 1968, in what became Martin Luther King Jr.'s last Sunday sermon, he spoke of remaining awake for a “Great Revolution.” Today, during this evolutionary moment in time, our task is to awaken. To awaken, we must slow down, let go of our agendas and grievances and listen to the Divine. The Divine Guidance is always Love. We will practice Lesson 71 from the Workbook. "Only God's plan for salvation will work." We will be joined by Rev. Sheila Pierce, founding minister of The Center of Peace, a Center for Spiritual Living in Greater Philadelphia. This New Thought community believes there is only One Life, that Life is God’s Life, that Life is perfect, that Life is my Life now! Last month they celebrated their 10th anniversary.

This is the Gandhi/King/Chavez Season for Nonviolence. Cesar Chavez chose the symbol of the eagle and A Course in Miracles asks us, “Who would attempt to fly with the tiny wings of a sparrow when the mighty power of an eagle has been given him?” When we learn to place our minds on the power of God, we invoke what Chavez called “a revolution of mind and heart.” We will be joined Erica Dodt from the Student Farmworking Alliance. Erica is volunteering in Florida for the upcoming "Do the Right Thing" Campaign working with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers. We will practice Lesson 34 from the workbook of A Course in Miracles titled “I could see peace instead of this.”

We have freedom of choice. Will we allow our minds to be ruled by the lies of the ego or the love of God within? What Self will rule our awareness? How can our minds be made free from illusion? A Course in Miracles tells us, “Forgive and you are freed.” Forgiveness does not invalidate our pain. It delivers us to our happiness. Guest Dr. Lee Jampolsky has said, “Many people live in a self-imposed prison and don't even know it.” Dr. Jampolsky is the author of several books in the area of inspirational psychology, including Healing the Addictive Personality: Freeing Yourself From Addictive Patterns and Relationships.

Everyone is in a relationship with the One Self—the God Self. Are we focusing on an illusion of need or joining the heart of god’s true love? A Course in Miracles reminds us, “Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all of the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” We will practice Lesson 127 from the Workbook. “There is No Love but God's.” We will be joined by relationship expert Arielle Ford, author of the international best-selling book The Soulmate Secret: Manifest the Love of Your Life With the Law of Attraction. Gandhi said, “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.” When we speak words of love but think fear, we see our fear made manifest in the outer world. When we are afraid, we are seeing something that isn’t real. We can choose to change all thoughts that hurt. On this episode, we will practice Lesson 16 from the Workbook of A Course in Miracles, “I have no neutral thoughts.” We will also be joined by Rev. Joy Young, who is just completing a sacred assignment as a temporary shepherd for the Unity of Vancouver spiritual community. Rev. Joy is a spiritual coach specializing in deep transformational work and living from the inside out.

The world that we see reflects our state of mind. Our judgments are attacks on the One Self. Will we continue to condemn violent acts and think attack thoughts? The fear in our heads shows up in the world, but we can choose again in any moment. We can stop scaring ourselves and remember who and what we are right now. We will practice Lesson 26 from the workbook of A Course in Miracles, “My attack thoughts are attacking my invulnerability.” Guest Rev. Dr. Kathleen Johnson will share with us about living kindness as nonviolence in action. Kathleen is the spiritual director of the Center for Joyful Living in Wilmington, Delaware, where she teaches loving-kindness and Universal Spiritual Principles.

If God asked you what you wanted, would you have a list? Or would peace be what honestly leapt to mind? In order to experience an outer world of peace, we must proactively claim our minds and all of our thoughts for peace. We’ll practice Lesson 185 from the Workbook of A Course in Miracles, “I Want the Peace of God.” Beverly Hutchinson McNeff, founder of the Miracle Distribution Center and editor of The Holy Encounter magazine, will share with us about MDC’s Pledge for Peace and plans for the upcoming A Weekend of Miracles in West Palm Beach, Florida. Coretta Scott King said, “The beloved community is not a place, but a state of heart and mind, a spirit of hope and goodwill that transcends all boundaries and barriers and embraces all creation.” Beloved Community is the environment that is manifested when we accept the Truth of who we are. It is the state of being love; the collective remembering of the Sonship. No one can been denied membership to the Beloved Community if it is to be truly Beloved. A Course in Miracles tells us that “partial atonement is a meaningless idea.” On this episode, we will practice Lesson 187 from the Workbook of A Course in Miracles, “I bless the world because I bless myself.”

When we identify with ego, we are in a constant state of fear, weakness and defense. The world tells us that the best defense is a good offense, so out we go—getting, doing and pushing. When we identify with Holy Self, we don’t set the agenda because we remember that we lack nothing. We become available to serve as hands and feet.
