The Winter Solstice marks the shortest day of the year and commemorates a natural turning point. When we allow our minds to become still, we create the space for divine transformation. We become the Son of God Standing Still. A Course in Miracles tells us, “The miracle comes quietly into the mind that stops an instant and is still.” We are joined by Rev. Christmas can be our birth into the shining Heaven within. This is the birth of our awakened state—an acceptance of healing and joy. This is the gift we can give ourselves and the world this Christmas—the miracle of healing, the release from all pain and suffering. A Course in Miracles teaches us that we need to develop our ability to be grateful. God is good all of the time. This does not mean that we always get our way, but that God’s way is perfect. Today we will be joined by Rev. Juan Enrique Toro, minister of Unity Costa Rica. Rev Toro is also the co-founder of Silent Unity Costa Rica, initiated the Season for Nonviolence in Costa Rica, and is Central America’s only Unity minister.

A Course in Miracles tells us that we think we have many problems, but that in Truth we have only one: the erroneous belief that we are separate from God and one another. No matter what the problem appears to be, there is one solution. Today we’ll be joined by Steve Farrell, worldwide coordinating director of Humanity’s Team, as he reports to us on some of the happenings around the world on the Global Oneness Day, October 24, 2010, as well as on some of the projects and initiatives that led to this historic event.

Because our experiences are based upon our perceptions, and our perceptions change as we evolve, the past becomes obsolete. It was created from the mind of someone whom we have outgrown. When we give the use of memory entirely to God, we are healed by remembering Present Love. Joining us today is musician, producer, music director, synthesist and film score composer Ben Dowling to talk about Jazz Metaphysics: How a shift of time-awareness produces a flood of creativity, utilizing the present moment to walk through any experience of fear to create at the top of our game.

Miracles are natural and are always here. Our failure to see them means that we are imposing obstacles to our own sight. Will we live our lives as though nothing is a miracle or will we live as though everything is a miracle? We’ll practice “Let miracles replace all grievances” from the Workbook of A Course in Miracles. Oliver Rizzi Carlson will discuss Peace Education. Oliver grew up in Italy, the United States and Switzerland. He studied Peace Education at the University for Peace and is now the editor of the Global Campaign for Peace Education Newsletter, U.N. Liaison for the Global Alliance for Ministries and Departments of Peace as well as Operation Peace Through Unity, working on Culture of Peace issues. He participated in the drafting of the World Report from Civil Society at the end of the Decade for a Culture of Peace, collaborates with the School for Designing a Society, and speaks on Peace Education at conferences in various countries.

What we are seeing is nothing more than our perception. Even when what we are seeing is pretty and clear, something that appears to come in from the outside can come along and shake up the sediment. We can focus on the sediment or we can ask that it be cleaned from our minds. When we ask, we will receive. By focusing on the sediment, we are asking for more sediment. But do we want sediment or do we want minds that are clear, no matter what amount of shaking comes along? Today we will practice Lesson 181 from the Workbook of A Course in Miracles with Ron Pennington of Still Waters Stress Center in Ocean City, New Jersey, who will share his Miracle Massage healing message.

What we give to another, we actually give to ourselves. We are told that, “To give is how to recognize you have received.” It is our proof to ourselves of our own abundance. For this same reason, whatever we withhold from another, we are withholding from ourselves. We are told that only what we are not giving can be lacking in any situation. “To give and to receive are one in truth.” This does not make us less generous. It removes our hidden fear of giving. A Course in Miracles tells us that God has already given us everything. We learn to harvest the gifts that we already have been given by noticing that we already have them.
