Lindsay's story is one of misophonia alongside a host of other issues that she has dealt with throughout her life, including addiction, co-dependent relationships, and self-harm. She is in a much better place now and we talk about how she has worked on these, how they have affected relationships with the people in her life, and how they have affected her school and career.

In this conversation, Laurel takes us very deep into her miso origins and the family trauma she had to deal with from a young age. She takes us all the way up to now where she is a college freshman and miso-mentor for others. Is there a genetic basis for misophonia?
