When it comes to choosing a person to guide or coach you along the way to your set goals, be critical and thoughtful. What you want to look for in a coach is knowledge, experience and expertise. The last one is referred to having deep knowledge in only one topic, instead of a little about everything.
There is so much more for us to know and learn. We are not done. Do not forget, you're an athlete. dress up, because today, it might just happen.
Are you afraid of going to the gym? do you have a feeling of fear or shame when you anticipate going to the gym? Don't be. Working out in the gym is a selfish process by nature. Everybody has to focus on themselves in the gym. That is the default environment. So just do your thing there. Take incremental steps moving forward. I would friendly suggest you to take baby steps that will bring you closer to your desired obtainment. Go to the gym to drink coffee, then go back home. Next time, research the utility of one machine. Watch youtube video's about it, then execute that one exercise. Then do two machines, etc. You can do it. Have an enjoyable listen! I hope it's desirable for the ears.
The 'second wave' of the pandemic, as the politics call it, is going to be worse then the first 'wave'. The next 5 weeks we find ourselves in the unknown again, as the new 'lockdown' has been introduced to us yesterday, december 14th 2020. Being unnable (again) to attend the gym and thus not able to have a release for our energy and tension in a physical way, could create conflict with ourselves and others. Please keep prioritizing your own safety above all else, as i already see people losing their temper more quickly on the streets. My approach on the next 5 weeks is to look at it in a reational way and addressing what is essential to maintain muscle mass and an overall good mood. I'll keep my diet mostly high potein, high fat, and i only eat carbs when necessary. I'll keep my body fit by doing exercise and specifying my health-related goals focussing on weak body parts and overall narrowing my focus more intensely so that i'll come back stronger. I recommend everyone doing something similiar. This talk is meant as a positive motivator for all of you and myself. I hope you'll gain some insights that help you stay in shape and binge-eat. REMEMBER: the more fat mass you gain = the lower testosteron production = overall decrease and loss of muscle mass.
