The M+M+M Show

If there’s one thing that everyone should know about living in this world? Its that it does NOT owe ANYONE understanding, grace or patience. And while there are plenty of people who are eager to take advantage of that fact? There are others who see that fact and are eager to change it. And since it remains a fact, whether you’re a holding public office, you’re a man of the cloth, or a man behind bars, who better to lead the charge than a man who may soon be all three?

Enter @BishopLamorMWhitehead. Husband, father, preacher, motivational speaker, social activist, community leader, and entrepreneur, currently running for Brooklyn borough president. He’s got a rep for having street respect and a God connect. But with multiple challenges in front of him and just as many stigmas surrounding him, how does he plan on getting people to give him the one shot he needs to change lives for the better?

Thankfully, the native Brooklynite pulled up on @MrMecc & @K_Lavenne to speak on all of the above on the #MMMKRadioShow on @officialfuburadio via @radiodotcom & @iheartradio!!

Some crimes are truly unforgivable. Plenty of people can and do justify stealing, assault can have its justification. Hell even drug dealing is legal depending on which state you’re in. But when it comes to extreme sexual violence against, men, women and children? In the minds of many, the offenders are rabid animals with two options on punishments. A permanent crate or a permanent box.

But what happens to the people left behind? When recovery doesn’t magically appear with the justice too many are denied, how do the victims manage to reclaim the part of themselves that was lost?

Unfortunately, its a struggle that sexual assault survivor @IAmBriannaMichelle knows all too well. But with firsthand knowledge, came a new attitude on life, centered around healing and helping other who share her struggle with her @voicesbeyondassault nonprofit organization and a will to live the rest of her days with purpose and control.

Inside the black community, there has always been the issue of colorism. With the history of some plantation slaves ending up working in the field and some ending up working in the house, the stigma’s of each have continued well into 2021. So it’s no wonder that as a lightskin/pretty-boy singer #LeoAmari has heard all the wisecracks and jokes before.

Thankfully the new aged crooner has learned to use the stereotypes to his advantage. While he may be tired of being tried and tested by folks who take his perceived prettiness for a weakness, Young LA has combined the non-stop drive to create with the movie start good looks to propel himself to the spotlight.
