In 2012 Canada had major first world problems with Maple Syrup, or the lack of it, causing headlines all over the country. Nearly 3000 tonnes of the sticky goodness, with a monetary value of over 18 million CAD, was stolen over a period of a year, and people (well some people) were mad!

In 1950 an Alaskan town was abandoned with everyone member, except the postman, up and leaving.

There were horror stories of eviscerated bodies, bigfoot attacks and a wailing woman in black, but did any of this actually happen or is there a simple explanation to all this?

Edward Albert Christian George Andrew Patrick David was born to be King of the United Kingdom and Emperor of India, but love and manipulation would get in the way of him seeing out his tenure and he went on to live a nomadic and interesting life.

Both were terrible choices but at least with the baby farmers, you could go back to an independent life and work freely, the draw back was that you may not see your baby alive again...
