BEBE BLACK CARMINITO is a food stylist, recipe developer, content creator, cooking teacher and professional makeup artist. Her debut cookbook, The Curated Board: Inspired Platters & Spreads for Any Occasion, was published in September, 2024. 

Bebe co-hosts three global cookbook clubs. Her early forays into cookbook contribution include The California Date Cookbook, as well as styling for Faith Kramer’s celebrated 52 Shabbats. Bebe attended the San Francisco Cooking School and started her culinary career at A16, an acclaimed restaurant in San Francisco. She resides in San Francisco in her teeny-tiny apartment with her husband and best friend, David Carminito.

So many of the women I work with experience time anxiety. They are relating to thoughts about time in a really unhelpful way. They're using thoughts about what's happening in the past or the future to derail what's happening in the present. And they are taking the worst kind of action to deal with time anxiety...multi-tasking. I want to teach you how to relate to time differently, and get a handle on how you can use time, rather than be a victim of time scarcity.

Dr. Reddy is currently the Mental Health Service Chief for the Veterans Administration Clinical Resource Hub in Visn 21, and that's a virtual mental health program that serves Nevada, California and the Pacific Islands. And she has been a tele mental health psychologist since 2016. She provided care originally to rural and in particular, underserved populations in the VA, and over the last 22 years, her work has spanned three different countries India, Australia, the United States, and she brings a deep awareness of the cross-cultural issues that influence health and illness.

Dr. Reddy is a delight and this is a peep into much more of her personal life including motherhood and community! Listen in to our conversation on The Modern Creative Woman Podcast!

A person selling "snake oil" is trying to get your money with a promise of a cure of a variety of problems (business, money, emotional care, mental health, etc.). These cure-alls for various ailments lack any real medicinal properties (Although they might give you a little information that makes it sound real). The person lacks business credentials or expert training in the topic. These fraudulent or ineffective products confuse the consumer who struggles to tell the difference between real help and the fake treatments. How do we tell the difference? 

And in this environment, how do we make sure people know we are not selling snake oil?
