When we’re not embedded within social relationships we’re not in a healthy state. We need one another to thrive.

Forming relationships can be a daunting task because of access and fear about what others think and do. What can we do help us take the risk of being social and what are other reasons why it is so important?

All too often we take shortcuts in life that don’t serve us well. To live the lives we wish to lead, we should root out the underlying problems causing our difficulties instead of addressing the immediate emotional pain.

In doing so, we improve the structure of our lives, and strengthen them in the process.

The celebrity sex scandal wave continues to gain momentum. Does this dynamic extend beyond Hollywood and the media? Why is the abusive behavior coming to light now?

The answers to these questions are complicated and grounded in the many cultural forces that define us as a society.
