Many people feel the family court system is flawed and biased against fathers. Jared Mazezka shares those beliefs; he also happens to be one of the many fighting for legislative change in the state of West Virginia. Jared speaks candidly about his court battle while highlighting some of the flaws in our court system. We discuss the current state of the family court system and some of the things we can do to make a positive difference. Enjoy
This is a topic where many dads should be able to relate. I know many of us fit into this category. We coach out kids and try to find that balance between dad and coach. Sharief Williams never wanted to be a coach; but he's coached both of his sons in basketball. We talk about leadership, making mistakes, and how we walk the line of being a coach and a father. As always, thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy.
I get to vent a little on this one. This is a solo episode where I share some simple mindset lessons for the holidays. I get into the importance of valuing your time, minding your circle, and entering 2022 with a fresh mind and spirit! Happy Holidays to all!
This is a pretty powerful episode with Army Veteran and father of two, Rob Wilson. He speaks candidly about fatherhood from the lens of a mental health professional who has overcome substance abuse. We discuss the internal struggles many fathers face, overcoming trauma, and how it's never too late for most parents to develop a relationship with their children. Enjoy!
