I talk about our family's core values that drive and influence every single parenting decision we make. I review our drill sergeant-like morning and evening routines we do every night. I also go over our House Rules for screens, food, and toys. And even go over some examples of how I build resiliency with my kids by consciously allowing for, and sometimes intentionally creating, age-appropriate uncomfortable and difficult scenarios for my kids to navigate.

Our first piece of advice on birthday parties? Don't have sex in March. We kid, kind of. Both of us have kid birthdays around Christmas and New Year's and we talk at length about the stress of having a birthday party to plan so close to the holidays. We both talk about our approaches to throwing kid parties with a nice side tangent on how Elsa's chokehold on toddler girls should be studied. Enjoy this one fellow moms, it was a fun one to record!

We really just shoot the shit in this episode with a focus covering the Kyte Parental Leave drama that happened last week. We cover Casey's non-alcoholic wine that is a glorified apple cider, Justin Timberlake, vaccines, high school (lol), and taking your kid to the dentist. Hit play on this episode if you're craving a mom hang but your kids are home sick and you're stuck at home :)

We asked and you guys answered with a resounding "please talk about snow days!!" Literally 100% of the requests we got last week for "What to whine about" were snow day or snow day related. SOLIDARITY. Elizabeth talks about how her and husband manage, divide and conquer snow and sick days. Casey talks about how last week with the snow days wasn't that much different than a normal week for her. She also goes on a random rant about what "solo parenting" means according to internet peoples.
