Leisa Hans is a Mississippi girl who has called Nashville home for more than 26 years, long enough to have watched the city grow, change, reinvent itself, and still know where some of the good stuff is hiding.

Before real estate, Leisa spent time in the music world, singing and touring with successful recording artists. That life gave her a front-row seat to Nashville’s creative community and introduced her to many of the people who would eventually become friends, clients, collaborators, and a big part of the life she’s built here.

She found her way into real estate in 2014 and started her own team in 2017. Today, she leads Lolly Estates, a boutique Nashville real estate team with a particular connection to the city’s music and creative communities. For Leisa, though, real estate has never just been about houses. It’s about people, how they want to live, and helping them find their place in a city she genuinely loves.

A connector by nature, Leisa gets a ridiculous amount of joy from putting the right people in the same room, whether that means finding someone a home, introducing two people who need to know each other, or sharing the perfect antique shop, restaurant, designer, contractor, or hidden Nashville gem.

She has a deep love for fashion, interiors, design, antiquing, thrifting, grocery shopping, and the art of making a home feel collected rather than decorated. Cooking is one of her absolute favorite things in the world, especially when it ends with the people she loves gathered around the table. Give her an afternoon digging through an antique store, a trip to the grocery store with no particular plan, a beautifully set table, a great outfit, a house with soul, or a long dinner with friends and family, and she’s happy.

At the center of all of it is something Leisa values above almost everything else: authenticity. In homes, in style, in friendships, in business, and in people. She believes the most interesting things are rarely the most perfect ones, and she has built both her career and her life around that idea.

Leisa shares her Nashville home with her longtime partner, Rod, her daughter, Hattie, two dogs, Rosie and Tex, and two cats, Emma and Bailey.

For this first episode of Season Six, the gals discuss the hopes of expanding the Momcult Brand and Nichole shares everything from the pull and pray years, finding out you’re pregnant on Christmas morning, and pumping on a film set 3 weeks postpartum. We also got into the real stuff — what it’s like when your husband tours for weeks at a time and you have to build a shell to survive him being gone, then peel it back off when he walks back through the door. The kids change while he’s away. You change. And somehow you have to find your way back to each other every single time.

Nichole is the creative partner Joy met at the Nashville Film Festival last year, and together they’re developing Joy’s “I’m A Winner” short film into an episodic series.

Her films have screened nationally and internationally, including at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Nashville Film Festival, and Defy Film Festival, earning recognition for both directing and screenwriting.

Nichole loves ensemble casts, female-driven stories, and complicated, imperfect characters. She’s endlessly interested in why people are the way they are, the things they don’t say, and the relationships that shape them, especially when it’s funny, awkward, heartbreaking, or somehow all three. She lives in Nashville with her husband and two kids, where she is usually writing something, making something, or standing in a room trying to remember why she went in there.

We had such a fun time getting to sit down and chat with one of our most seasoned friends from our party days, Meg Perry! She so graciously shares with us everything from her unexpected pregnancy to her traumatic birth story to her divorce and the logistical struggles of coparenting. Sarah ‘s been traveling, Joy needs a new car and Meg is recovering from a case of vertigo. Join us.

About our guest: Originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, Colleen moved to Nashville in 2009 by way of Brooklyn, New York. She’s worn many hats over the years, from waiting tables, to custom menswear slinger, to her current role as a real estate agent. Personally knowing the benefits of homeownership, she is particularly passionate about helping first time homebuyers.

After the Covenant shooting in 2023 she began regularly showing up to the state capitol where she learned the ins and outs of TN state politics. Since that time her activism work has grown, most recently with the creation of the Angelic Dissenters podcast. A weekly update on the TN General Assembly and the harmful policies being introduced.

When not yelling in the streets, she can be found at home in East Nashville with her husband and two daughters Mabel and Josie.

We delve into Randa’s background, including her adoption from South Korea to a family in Kentucky and she shares her personal journey through an ectopic pregnancy, IVF, and the challenges of balancing motherhood with career. About our guest: Randa Newman is a producer, actor, and genetic counselor. Born in Seoul and adopted into a family of Eastern Kentucky Appalachians at three months old, she brings a unique perspective to both science and storytelling. She is the co-founder of Ranch Vovo, a narrative film production company based in East Nashville. Randa has produced several films and served as executive producer on the TV pilot Morse Code, which earned multiple awards on the film festival circuit. In 2025, she made her directorial debut with the critically acclaimed short film I’m a Winner (written by Joy Todd), which won the Audience Choice Award at Nashville Film Festival. Her on-screen credits include 911 Nashville (ABC), Sketch (starring Tony Hale), Young Rock (NBC), Walker (CW), and The WASP, in which she portrayed WWII pilot Hazel Ying Lee.

Randa lives in East Nashville with her husband, Korby, and their daughter, Zuzu.
