The Mommy Gamers

By now you've probably heard at least a little something about the whole Rick and Morty Szechuan Sauce McDonald's thing. One of our favorite people ever, Robert Workman aka TheDCD, has been a pretty major player in the recent media hype about this coveted sauce...and we loved him before he became sauce famous. Carrie, Marcia, and Robert talk about how Robert's sauce journey has changed him (just kidding...he's still the same awesome guy he's always been) and they talk the usual games, movies, butts, and more.

This week Carrie and Marcia are joined by Mike Robles. In addition to being a Dad and a gamer, Mike writes video game reviews for Marooners' Rock. Mike's previous work as a community manager for some pretty big games gave he and Carrie a lot to talk about. Everyone talks a lot about the Ghost Recon Ghost War PVP Open Beta, Destiny 2, the Fortnite Battle Royal drama and much more.

In Episode 171 of The Mommy Gamers Podcast Marcia and Carrie are joined by Jon Hydeman, aka The1Jon. Jon is a freelance game/software tester, a daddy, a huge Destiny fan, and an all around great guy. They chat a LOT about Destiny 2, and also Uncharted Lost Legacy, Conan Exile, and Last Day of June.

For Episode 170 of The Mommy Gamers Podcast Carrie and Marcia are joined by Jeff Hannah, Principal Technical Artist at Volition Games to chat about the release of Agents of Mayhem. Jeff chats about all of the local community hype revolving around the game launch, and Carrie gets extra excited about all the Uranus jokes because #ButtStuff. The ladies introduce a new segment titled "You Know You're Old When...", everyone chats about their experience with the solar eclipse, and for some reason something about a poop emoji plunger Kickstarter made it in here too. An awesome listener question regarding the current trend of early access games turns into a really great discussion, which helped make this a very well balanced episode and one you won't want to miss.

Marcia and Carrie are excited to be back after a short break. The ladies are joined by guest host Krystal aka Overyacting, an awesome Mom and the Xbox General for the PMS Clan. Topics for this super packed episode include the new Cards Against Humanity for Her card deck, and of course their Period Pack of cards. Games chat covers Mass Effect Andromeda, Friday the 13th: The Game, Player Unkown's Battlegrounds and a lot more. Enjoy!

Marcia and Carrie have a quick show for you this week as preparations for E3 and the five year anniversary of The Mommy Gamers Podcast are underway. The ladies chat about their previous E3 experiences, and play around with some silly audio sounds. Watch The Mommy Gamers on Twitch, Facebook, and Twitter next week for lots of live E3 coverage including live coverage from the Xbox Briefing.

What better way to celebrate Mother's Day than listening to Marcia, Carrie, and Desirai...three gaming mommies...chat about gaming, movies, hot topics, health, beauty, fitness and more! This week the ladies chat about Little Nightmares, Birthdays the Beginning, and Blackbox for gaming.

We need to make sure you all know that this episode is NSFW and not okay to listen to around your kids. If for some reason you were looking for moms who bake cookies and talk about knitting...we aren't those moms. This week Carrie, Desirai and Marcia chat about the Let's Play Live Rooster Teeth event (which specifially results in the NSFW chat), Marvel Heroes Omega, Blackbox, Dragon Quest H2, the new Twitch Affiliate program and partner tiers, the Fyre Festival (we can make a better sandwich BTW), Victor Frankenstein, Napercise, and a whole lot more.

Episode 165 of The Mommy Gamers Podcast is full of crazy epic discussions including the Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino aka Circus In A Cup to video games, movies and more! Desirai is ridiculously excited about Cut the Rope: Magic and the Outlander Season 3 Trailer.  Carrie brings all the TV and Movies chat with Bates Motel, Doctor Who Season 12, and a lively chat with Desirai about The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. Marcia is getting excited for Little Nightmares, virtual reality shopping, and a mod for Sims 4 that is basically porn.

The ladies all get into a very passionate discussion about the Unicorn Frappuccino from Starbucks, and pretty much yell at the people shaming others for enjoying this treat. There's much more in this awesome episode...but these notes are getting a little too long and we'd hate to ruin all the surprises.

In Episode 164 of The Mommy Gamers Podcast Carrie is back and she brought along her new baby Madelyn to entertain you all with adorable new baby sneezes and coos. Carrie, Desirai and Marcia chat about Destiny 2, Parappa The Rappa, and the new Frank West Dead Rising 4 DLC. The ladies also speculate about why Nintendo is discontinuing the NES Classic. Desirai unboxes her first Birchbox, Carrie tries out WaterPura wipes, and Marcia is excited about Mystery Scienct Theater 3000. Tune in this week for all of these topics and much more in this weeks episode. Enjoy!
