Graphic designer and yarn enthusiast, Ashley Gorecki from A Hare Affair joins Desirai and Marcia this week for Episode 163 of The Mommy Gamers Podcast which has lovingly been titled Number 2 Fancy Poo. We're just going to let you listen and figure out how poop ended up in yet another podcast episode. The ladies also discuss how the University of Utah is the first to offer a video game scholarship, what movie they'd like tos ee made into a game, and which media genre crossover works better: games into movies or movies into games?

 An important conversation about the ladies preference for short or long hair on Thor in the Thor Ragnarok Teaser Trailer has all three hosts agreeing for once. Gaming chat covers Yooka-Laylee, the Nintendo Mii Plaza update, animals chewing on 3DS charger cords, and so much more!

In Episode 162 of The Mommy Gamers Podcast Marcia and Desirai are joined by the lovely Cori Myers of Gameinatrix and ThePinkController. The theme of this show seems to revolve heavily around things that should have happened...and things that probably never should have, but that's for you to decide. Cori laments over a missed opportunity to kiss Peter Molyneux, Marcia regrets trying the peep flavored Oreos, and Desirai may or may not be wishing she'd skipped that extravagant Halo themed wedding she had and held out for a Taco Bell wedding in Vegas.

Long-time fans of The Mommy Gamers Podcast will be excited to hear a familiar voice in Episode 161.  Elaine guest hosts with Marcia and Desirai for the first time in more than two years. Yay Elaine!! The ladies quickly fall back into their old banter with some gaming discussions about Trove, the PokemonGO Water Festival, Zelda Breath of the Wild and...Chicken Scream? Desirai finds another "mature oriented" site, intriguingly named OMGYes.com (NSFW) for the Bright Ideas segment. Marcia chats about Beauty and the Beast as spoiler free as possible and Elaine and Desirai debate the Spiderman: Homecoming Trailer and wether or not the Spiderman series has burned them one too many times.

In this largely not safe for work episode, the ladies also discuss a few sexy romance novels, porn search terms, and some more family friendly questions such as how to game with little ones around, and snuggling babies while gaming. Episode 160 of The Mommy Gamers Podcast might be the first actual successful attempt at a quickie show. Carrie spent a little time at the hospital almost having her baby, and while she needed the rest...she hates missing a podcast so they made this one quick.  That doesn't mean this show isn't slam packed with our usual epic content, it just means you got it a little faster and funnier this week.  Marcia, Desirai and Carrie chat about the last game they couldn't put down. Marcia discusses, Hoagie,  a fun new card game she got to review and play with her daughter. Desirai discovered Tinitell, a wearable mobile phone for kids. 

Remember that sigh of relief you let out when you realized The Vampire Diaires talk was over...forever? Well, now Carrie and Desirai have moved on to talking about The Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals and Marcia ins't very happy about it. In Episode 159 the ladies kick things off with a fun St. Patrick’s Day intro compliments of their newest writer, Brooke Pratt.  Carrie locks the St. Paddy’s Day theme in by discussing her Irish heritage, Marcia gets really excited about corned beef and cabbage, and Desirai has plans to celebrate her twelfth dating anniversary with her husband John.  Gaming talk this week includes the newly released to consoles LEGO Worlds game, The ABC Murders based on The Agatha Christie’s novel of the same name, and Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns.

Marcia chats about Hater Dating, a new dating site that connects people based on their mutual loathing of things.  Desirai discovers Whoa, a fun app that helps you connect to the world in an interactive way.  The Vampire Diaries Series Finale chat gives Carrie and Desirai a chance to reminisce and say goodbye to the show…hopefully forever. In Episode 158 Carrie, Marcia, and Desirai chat about the Xbox Games Pass coming later this spring. Is this something new and amazing, or are there enough services out there already doing the whole pay to play for an epic library of games thing already? Desirai and Marcia both picked up the Mass Effect Cards Against Humanity deck and share some of the cards with everyone. Carrie brings up fake camel toe underwear in our "Bright Ideas" segment, and Marcia tosses in something about how everyone is licking their Nintendo Switch cartridges.

With Carrie just a few weeks away from introducing a new baby girl into her family, she's been forced to enjoy a lot of movies and TV shows. So she tells everyone about Arrival, Denial, and her second round of watching Parks and Recreation. The show is rounded off nicely with some amazing listener questions.
