Happy Fathers Day

Realizations I’m making about teenagers, my kids age gap, how raisin a teen makes me think about myself and how I move through the world.

What is the invisible load in motherhood? Who is likely to carry it? How can we fix it? What I am doing this week to make my week less heavy.

I’ll talk about the three things that worry me most about my boys: mental and physical health being not as good as women’s health, boys education being not as strong as girls and men not needing to show up as a true partner in the home.

I am feeling overwhelmed with all the things I am consuming the past couple weeks. I want to take a break in spending and consuming information so call me out if you see me breaking my promise this week 😂 I will talk about types of spending, spending psychology & the pros and cons of consuming so much.

Reasons for my mom guilt this week, my thoughts about it, what I think it means & what I am thinking of trying this week to help make me more present.

Happy Mothers Day. & if it’s not happy, I’m sorry and I see you & it sucks that it is that way sometimes. I wanted to celebrate the moms who are killin it & encourage the ones who feel like they might not be. Motherhood is complex. Sometimes we are sold a lie that it’s inherent & effortless & natural but that’s not the case for majority of people. Without moms the world would exists. I wanted to shout that out incase no one else does in your world today.

This episode is a little gloomy I think, as a warning. I’m talking the post birth, not liking parenting, guilt, not knowing if you are fucking them up, the cons of having kids and then I end with the pros. I do like myself better as a mom then not as a mom. But man, sometimes I really don’t like it.
