In this sermon we explore the seeming contradiction between Paul’s statement in Romans 2:13 and Romans 3:20. We will learn that one. cannot be redeemed by the works of the law, but the redeemed endeavor to live by the precepts of God’s law.

Two questions are implied in our test today. For the Gentile the question is, “Shouldn’t I be exempt from judgment since I didn’t have the law of God?” For the Jew the question is, shouldn’t I be exempt from judgment sine I was the guardian of God’s Law?” Paul answers both.
