Burt I. Gordon was a savant when it came to giant animal attack movies, bringing live animals on a massive scale to the screen in ways not seen in Hollywood. In 1957 he directed the GIANT locust movie BEGINNING OF THE END with legendary actor Peter Graves, bringing forth what he could do in this genre. We look back at this now almost 70 year old movie wondering if it still brings the magic, or if its's a forgettable classic, if that makes any sense.
