Dissect That Film

In 1974, an unknown writer from Maine created the story of a young girl with unique powers, a highly religious mother, and a prom that goes up in flames. 2 years later, legendary filmmaker Brian DePalma decided he would take that story and bring it to the big screen, with 1976's CARRIE. Drew Hallum joins us once again to help us break down this now 50 year old classic, discuss all the similarities and differences between the film and King's novel that helped inspire it, and share our thoughts on what Mike Flanagan has in store with the modern retelling of this iconic story.
