New Zealand filmmakers have given us some amazing pieces of cinema, but one film in 2006 brought it all back to its roots, with BLACK SHEEP. A movie where mutated sheep take over a small area of New Zealand, and boy does it feel like the films that Peter Jackson was creating to get himself into Middle Earth. Join us, as we break down the amazing effects, the gorgeous scenery, and some mad scientist level acts against animals (no animal were harmed in the making of the film or podcast episode). It's a rarity to get two Friday the 13th's in a row, but here we are with the 5th entry in this iconic slasher franchise, A NEW BEGINNING. John from @deweypodmonster joins us to dissect what may be the sleaziest entry. From a director who primarily worked in adult entertainment, to a time jump that seems out of place, to the fact that our main slasher may not be who he says he is. It's time for another bloody day at the lake, so let's dive into this and more this week on the Dissect That Film Podcast #229.

Barugon became Gamera's first foe and then disappeared, but with his short stay brought so much color, more like a taste of a rainbow.
Is this one of the best Gamera sequels of the Showa era? Or is it as forgotten as Barugon?
