I had an interesting conversation with my manager the other day. Apparently, my job is now to play politics and keep my job.

I am 100% at odds with this style of management.

666 laws went into effect here in Texas on September 1st, and some of them had me thinking more about how certain laws pass and others don't, seemingly whether the general public agrees or not. Nothing scientific - I simply offer a perspective. I also recommend a book to pick up if this sort of topic interests you. Have you ever wondered how our government came to be as it is today? Why the Constitution is structured as such? What wording might have been part of it and was negotiated out? Good title to pick up. 

Does anyone really know what Apple is thinking right now? They're stepping way over the line on this CSAM image scanning thing. It's ridiculous. 

A short summary of my intended summer reading - should go well with getting a 1984 Catalina in shape.
