At end of Civil War, Bolivar Bates and Hacksaw Hastings had confederate money worth nothing and were starving. Their encounter with the Lone Ranger and Tonto lead them to a dangerous tax collecting job, one that cost its predecessors their lives.

Cole Williams was framed and prisoned for a robbery he did not commit. But the Lone Ranger and Tonto were convinced that Cole wasn't guilty. Their actions would pose a risk to their own good names.

Cole Williams, a young banker in Green Tree, is suspected of some smaller thefts. So the sheriff hatches a plan to catch Cole in a bigger robbery. Fortunately Cole has a friend in Tonto who believes in him.

Clem Peabody has given Bill Lawson 500 of his cattle rather than the 500 dollar fee. Everyone thinks Clem was a fool to give Lawson the cattle but The Lone Ranger has worked a scheme with Clem.

Land owner Bill Lawson has set up a legal but unethical toll at Eagle Pass. Cattle men like Clem Peabdoy are forced to pay extraordinary fees to get their cattle to market. The Lone Ranger takes on the cause of Clem and the cattle men.

The Lone Ranger and Tonto know that Wally Burk is innocent so they set out to prove Wallys innocence. The Sheriff is offering Wally Berk a way to escape hanging, but there is something suspicious about the Sheriffs plan.

Jake and Lem, two old friends who kept their life savings in the small shack they lived in were robbed. Footprints lead the Sheriff to Wally Burks house, who claims the money he has was a reward from a masked man.

Jim Murdoch seemed very generous to give Abe food and blankets for his family, but little did Abe know he was being framed. The Lone Ranger and Tonto knew Abe to be a good man and suspected Barney and Jim to be up to no good, so they set out to help out Abe Jenkins.

Abe Jenkins family was suffering in the cold and without food. Abe suspects Jim Murdoch swindled him out of his fair share of the gold mine they owned. Abe goes to Jim for help but Jims friend Barney Holden is working a scheme to frame Abe.

The Brougan brothers have robbed Osage Bank. Two old prospectors, Missouri and Sleepy, decide to pursue them and find themselves in need of help. The Lone Ranger and Tonto have a plan to help Missouri and Sleepy.
