While it sounds all happy on the surface, a slightly deeper look exposes a situation completely neglecting of the needs of the woman whose child now lives with another family.

A second adoption story in the news shows how adoption processes can be problematic. From CNN: “Something was amiss about the story the Ohio-based adoption agency had told Jessica and her husband, Adam, about Mata’s background. … Her mother told her it was never her intent to give Mata up for good — that she’d been deceived.”
