Charles Spillar, Director of Healing Arizona joins Doc Thompson to talk about a Green Berets Special Forces soldier that sustained TBI in combat. This veteran got accepted to do a give hyperbaric oxygen therapy in Tucson, AZ. This particular veteran is married and has three children. Charles has set-up a GoFundMe page with the goal of $5,000 to help them with the trip cost.

During the interview Doc asks Charles, "it's such a small amount you're asking for $5,000. Have you checked that number this morning?" Charles haven't been able to check the page because he was waiting for Doc's phone call. Doc continues, "Well Charles I checked it this morning and 12 minutes ago somebody donated $3,500 of the $5,000 we're looking for."

Charles got very emotional to know the amount and said this, "that's phenomenal... when we heal a veteran we heal their family... We just got to help them if we can't get the government to help them. We have to do it ourselves right now." Later it was announced that Doc emailed Mercury One and they were the ones who donated the $3,500. This big donation moved a lot of listeners and it sparked donations from different people.
