We begin with a look at the on-going weekend protests in Calgary’s ‘Beltline’ community. We speak with Global Reporter Sarah Offin about what, if anything, more can be done by City Police to put an end to the protests, which are causing ‘unrest’ to the residents of the downtown community.
Next we discuss the latest developments in the war in Ukraine. We talk with David Perry, President of the Canadian Global Affairs Institute for some insight into the Russian ‘strategy’ at this point, which includes targeting civilians and even hospitals.
It’s a new ‘initiative’ being put forth by the Calgary Public Library Foundation which encourages reading, and at the same time ‘celebrates’ Calgarians who’ve made in impact in our community. We speak with the subject of “chapter one” of the initiative, Jim Button, Co-Founder of ‘Village Brewery’ and ‘The Event Group’.
And finally, it’s “Motivational Monday”, our weekly segment aimed at helping you achieve your goals and live your best life! This week, we meet Brenda Frame, creator of “Frames Guest House”, and hear how she provides a “Home away from Home” for hospital patients and their families.
