All rise! Am I the Jerk Court is in session!
Comedian Don Friesen, our headliner for this Saturday’s big comedy show at the Show Low Elks Lodge, joins The Morning Brew as our special guest judge! We give Don an Am I the Jerk case involving a $7,000 destination wedding—and his first reaction might tell you everything you need to know.
Then Kirk Nurmi calls in to talk about his comedy project, Life of Nurmi, and the photo of Chris in his infamous brokini that’s apparently making the rounds on the internet. Yes…Brokini Chris is back.
PLUS, Nick from Safford grabs the gavel for another Am I the Jerk case and wins VIP tickets to Saturday’s comedy show, compliments of ComfortFit Dentures!
And Kyle from Show Low helps us choose our Way Back Wednesday Song of the Day and scores movie passes to WME Theatres.
It’s comedy, questionable decisions, a brokini and plenty of laughs on another Am I the Jerk Court Wednesday with Chris Bennett & Best Friends on QCountry 92.5!
Be nice to yourself, be nice to others, and don’t be a jerk!

Best friends, romance is alive and well... apparently at the CAR WASH!
It's Talk About Something Good Tuesday on The Morning Brew with Chris Bennett & Best Friends!
Melissa Perkins and Robyn Esparza from the Linden Elementary PTO join us to talk about the 6th Annual Cougar Cub Horseless Rodeo happening this Saturday from 4–7 PM at the Linden Valley Arena. It's open to kids eighth grade and under, there are 52 belt buckles up for grabs, pony rides, carnival games, concessions and more—and 100% of the proceeds go to support the teachers at Linden Elementary! Then we put Melissa and Robyn's knowledge to the test with Rodeo or Rodeo-NO!
Kevin and Angel Kerr from Mountain Mobile Auto Glass & Tint hang out with us, and since Kevin just celebrated a birthday, we try to figure out what decade he was born in—with comedy tickets on the line for Justin in Concho.
Plus, it's National Proposal Day, so Kevin finally tells us how he proposed to Angel after just a few weeks of dating: inside a car wash, with crying kids in the back seat and the Spice Girls playing. You can't make this stuff up.
Then Kendra in Snowflake plays I Do or I Don't to win another pair of tickets to our Summer Comedy Series finale this Saturday at the Show Low Elks Lodge with Don Friesen and Josh Novey!
Good news, local fun, giveaways and questionable romance. Just another Tuesday on The Morning Brew!
Be nice to yourself, be nice to others, and don't be a jerk.

It’s Motivational Monday on The Morning Brew, and since it’s World Gratitude Day, we’re starting the week with an attitude of gratitude… although Paul from Beaumont may have taken the assignment a little too literally. He’s grateful for his family, his job and, apparently, a giant chunk of earwax that fell out of his ear and helped him hear better. Yep. That happened.
Jineane Ford joins us after a VERY painful weekend involving her thumb and a truck door, then helps us choose our Motivational Quote of the Week. Paul puts his newly improved hearing — and his brain — to the test with Earth, Wind & Fire trivia in Are You Smarter Than a Redneck?
Then Dave Ramsey plays Tooth or Consequences and wins two VIP tickets to our comedy show, compliments of ComfortFit Dentures. Since it’s the 21st night of September, we also take Dave back to the ’70s for a special edition of Boo or Cool featuring CB radios, waterbeds, lava lamps, beanbag chairs and more.
And before we get out of here, comedian Don Friesen joins us! Don talks about his worst job before comedy, who’s actually funnier in his house and what he needs to wear when we turn him into a White Mountains mountain man.
Don Friesen headlines our Summer Comedy Series finale this Saturday, September 26th, at the Show Low Elks Lodge. Doors, bar and Alberto’s food truck open at 5 PM, the show starts at 6:30 PM, and it’s 18+. VIP is sold out, but general admission tickets are still available for $25 at ChrisBennettComedy.com.
It’s Monday. We’re grateful. There’s earwax. Welcome to The Morning Brew with Chris Bennett & Best Friends!

It’s Friday on The Morning Brew with Chris Bennett & Best Friends, and we’re kicking things off with our Country Climb Star of the Week, Jer Gregg!
Jer takes us through his Country Climb — from growing up in small-town Indiana surrounded by a musical family and writing songs as a kid, to walking away from his Plan B, making the move to Nashville, and eventually playing in front of 10,000 people in Australia.
We also get the story behind “Parachute,” a song inspired by watching Band of Brothers and thinking about Jer’s grandfather, who served as a paratrooper during World War II. Then we crank up “Parachute” right here on QCountry 92.5!
Plus, Jer tells us what other songs we should check out, what he has coming next, and how you can follow his music.
A huge thank you to our friends Shawn Burke and Austin Burke from the Playlisted Podcast for continuing to send these incredible artists our way!
And it wouldn’t be Friday without a little Morning Brew nonsense. Virgil the Cowboy joins us for Fun Fact Friday, makes a special song request for Cowgirl Kim, talks about his weekend fishing plans, and leaves us with some very questionable advice about listening to our dreams.
Grab some coffee and hang out with your best friends!

Relationship Advice Thursday gets a little weird on today’s Morning Brew!
Jineane Ford and Steve Carbajal help a woman decide if she’s overreacting after her boyfriend literally moves her out of the way for an attractive woman. Red flag or innocent misunderstanding?
Then Chano from St. Johns wins four tickets to see the Arizona Diamondbacks take on the New York Yankees, picks David Lee Murphy’s “Dust on the Bottle” as our Throwback Thursday Song of the Day, and sticks around to help with one of the strangest relationship problems we’ve heard: a boyfriend who thinks a mysterious piece of plastic found in his girlfriend’s hair means she’s cheating.
Plus, Paul from Beaumont joins us for a Constitution Day edition of Are You Smarter Than a Redneck? — with his citizenship apparently hanging in the balance.
And somewhere along the way, we learn that Chano doesn’t pop and lock anymore… he just locks.
Move, groove, giggle and wiggle with The Morning Brew with Chris Bennett & Best Friends on QCountry 92.5!

Court is officially in session on The Morning Brew! Jineane Ford joins Chris for Am I the Jerk Court, and today’s first case has everybody debating: after 17 years of marriage, one woman is fed up with trying to feed her picky husband and says she’s DONE cooking for him. Is she the jerk?
Then James from Show Low wins Arizona Diamondbacks tickets and gets immediately promoted to the jury for another case involving a houseguest who criticizes her friend’s tiny apartment… while staying there for FREE.
Plus, we celebrate Mexican Independence Day with a game of “Sí or No,” where John T. from Show Low plays for tickets to the September 26 Summer Comedy Series finale at the Show Low Elks Lodge.
Arguments, prizes, bacon, questionable trivia decisions, and another unpredictable morning with Chris Bennett & Best Friends on QCountry 92.5!

It’s Talk About Something Good Tuesday on The Morning Brew with Chris Bennett and Best Friends—and today’s show has plenty of heart, good news, and some VERY questionable trivia skills. 😂
Chris and Jineane Ford begin by taking a moment to remember and honor the Timber Mesa firefighters our community lost a year ago and the way the White Mountains continues to come together to support our first responders.
Then we turn to some good news! Jineane highlights the hardworking 4-H and FFA kids at the Navajo County Fair, Chris shares details about the Linden Elementary PTO Cougar Cub Horseless Rodeo, and we hear the incredible story of a formerly homeless pianist who turned a viral moment into an opportunity to give back.
After hearing the tribute, Timber Mesa Fire Marshal JD Pepper unexpectedly calls the show to share what the community’s support means to local firefighters—and delivers a timely Fire Marshal Minute.
PLUS, it’s giveaway time! Melanie from Heber plays D-Back to 2001 trivia for four Arizona Diamondbacks tickets, and Heath from Taylor attempts “What Did We Google?” on Google.com Day for eight movie tickets.
Let’s just say… both games come down to the wire. 😂
It’s good news, community, laughs, giveaways, and Morning Brew shenanigans on Q Country 92.5!

Ryan McKee went on a romantic pottery date…and apparently decided the best strategy was to keep trying to reenact Ghost until somebody laughed. How’d that work out for him? About as well as you’d expect. 😂
On today’s Motivational Monday edition of The Morning Brew with Chris Bennett and Best Friends, we’re getting motivated and ready to take on the week! We also celebrate the Arizona Cardinals’ big win with Jineane Ford, get the latest update on Ryan McKee’s dating life, and put Ryan’s Arizona sports knowledge to the test.
Then Show Low’s own Dave Ramsey joins us for Boo or Cool: NFL Stadium Food Edition — featuring two-foot hot dogs, spaghetti-and-meatball hot dogs, sushi push pops and some of the craziest things you can eat while watching football.
It’s good news, good vibes and plenty of morning show shenanigans from QCountry 92.5 in Arizona’s White Mountains.

Hannah Murphy is our Country Climb Star of the Week!
Hannah takes us back to growing up in Albany, Georgia, teaching herself guitar at just 13 years old and playing three-hour gigs in dive bars before she was even old enough to drive. She shares the nerves, the chicken tenders and Coke that got her through those early shows, and the journey that eventually led to making music full-time.
We also hear the story behind her song "Things You Carry," what it felt like hearing her music on Arizona country radio, and what's next — including a brand-new 16-song record coming next spring.
Plus, Virgil the Cowboy checks in, Jace Green gives us the inside scoop on Snowflake Lobos football, and we play a Friday Night Lights edition of Fun Fact or Fake Fact for Arizona Diamondbacks tickets.
And on the 25th anniversary of September 11th, we take a moment to remember the lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the families forever changed by that day. We will never forget.
A huge thank you to Shawn Burke, Austin Burke and the entire Playlisted Podcast team in Nashville for continuing to introduce us to incredible independent artists.

It's open to kids across the White Mountains, and 100% of the proceeds go back to Linden teachers!
Plus, Paul from Beaumont checks in with an update on Rhonda's chickens—and apparently there's now an egg business! Then Paul takes on Melissa and Robyn in Are You Smarter Than a Redneck: Rodeo Edition.
We also give Ariana from Heber four Arizona Diamondbacks tickets playing Horse or Nonsense, Melissa and Robyn choose our Throwback Thursday Song of the Day, and we finish with Relationship Advice involving a boyfriend, a metal knife, a plugged-in toaster…and “Dumb Ways to Die.”
