This is a retelling of the classic struggle between Archangel Michael and Lucifer, the Dragon. Michaelmas or The Festival of Courage is celebrated in late September in Waldorf Schools. This actually use to be a more popular holiday but fell out of celebration. It is a wonderful addition to our celebration of the harvest and welcoming the autumn. You can google this teller to find more Kachina and traditional Hopi stories from the Southwest peoples of the United States.
