Miss Namuyomba is a freelance model and actor who has starred in many big productions including Castle Rock and upcoming production Coda.Her Positive approach to life shows in her work and this is aided by her never give up mentality which has guided her to where she is today.

Welcome back to the Morning Muse in this thought-provoking episode of season 1 we had the opportunity to speak to Zimbabwean based altruistic philanthropist and businessman Mr Darren Goneke.

Mr Goneke happens to also be the 8th president of Rotary(@BrookeRotaract), “A river cuts through a rock not because of its power, but it’s perseverance” this is testament in Mr Goneke’s life as he went from being International Service Director then Vice President for before climbing up the ranks to being president in his 3rd year in the organisation.

Mr Goneke’s experience ranges from events management to being a media executive along with a degree in tourism management. “Your greatness is not what you have, it’s what you give” his goal is to improve the wellbeing of humankind by preventing and solving social problems. He felt that he needed to continue his Grandfathers legacy who he spoke of as being the “Obama” of rotary as he was the first black president of the oldest rotary club in the country.

This week we got the opportunity to speak to serial entrepreneur and founder of agenda women Mrs Nomndeni Mdakhi.

Best known for her work as Fuse Academy For Girls co-founder (with DJ Zinhle), working with Oskido, co-ordinating many events, Mrs Mdakhi has become a mentor and role model to many girls all over the world.

“On my own I will just create, and if it works,it works and if it doesn’t I’ll go and create something else.I don’t have any limitations on what I think I could do or be”~Oprah Winfrey. This is the drive that Mrs Mdakhi takes with her everywhere, she is driven and focused on building brands, advocating for women empowerment, story telling and more!

We got the opppurtunity to hear about the challenges she’s faced and the people who have been most influential to her throughout the course of her journey and more!

This week we got the opportunity to speak to Software developer,creative curator and serial entrepreneur the ambitious Mr Farai Mashiri. Farai was born in Zimbabwe and after his final year in highschool he set out to create one of the biggest platforms behind his brand, The Alphalist which features the Alphalist Radio.He is the founder of the alpha list radio which is a creative network built for African creatives which features many Djs and successful musical artists, it’s purpose was to connect African talent and he found it easier to understand a lot of creators and to build stronger relationships and this was aided by him studying psychology at SACAP.

He set out to change the way events were conducted and he aimed to create a more comfortable environment for events, he has worked with many influencers on his goal to help him in improving his craft and establishing a name for him

We got to share laughs and hear the challenges he has faced on his journey, how it is being an only child, his biggest challenge and more!

This week on The Morning Muse we got the opportunity to speak to South African based fashion and lifestyle content creator the talented miss Natalie Gowera. It was an eye opening experience as we got to share laughs and understand the strenuous work behind balancing YouTube and being a university student. Natalie recently completed her Bcom degree in South Africa and has continued to soldier on with her Youtube channel, consistently posting a new video every single week. Her Intriguing channel is centered around travel vlogs and fashion styling, Natalie enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures and new restaurants and this can be seen through her content.

She reveals the truth behind the hard work youtubers do with editing, her views on couple YouTube channels,How negative social media can be,the challenges she’s faced and more!

This Week we travel to Zimbabwe as we got the opportunity to speak to Taonesesa Karidza who advocates for Mental health, she’s an author,public speaker and runs her own company called PIAF which helps people in need, In July 2017, Tiwanna moved to South Africa to start her Law Degree at the university of Monash South Africa. Ever since then, she participated in conversations such as gender based violence, cannabis and mental health and women empowerment. We really had a blast with her on our podcast and we got to hear some of her experiences and challenges she’s faced on her journey.
