If we can be real honest, Jeff has never been a fan of the WWJD (What would Jesus Do?) bracelets. He more so wants his life to resemble the WDJD (What Did Jesus Do?) mindset because when we look at the Bible, we aren't necessarily blown away by the idea what Jesus would've done, it was what he actually did that stood out to people!

Tony’s Chocolonely, a Dutch sweets company, has some job openings that will likely be of interest to chocolate lovers around the country. The brand recently announced that it is currently looking for people to fill a trio of positions as “Chocotruck” drivers.

A Philadelphia teen nicknamed "Harvard" by his bullies credits his love of books for helping him get where he is today. 18-year-old Richard Jenkins is a senior at Girard College. He was homeless and bullied. That is when the then 6th grader decided he wanted a better life and made a conscious decision to focus on academics. Because of his determination, he will be attending Harvard on a full ride scholarship this Fall!

It's been a process but Jeff took the plunge several months ago and cut the cable cord to subscribe to a streaming TV service (Hulu Live) and now he is saving over $200 a month! Rebecca has been a little more hesitant but over the weekend, her and her husband decided that it was time to give it a try so they cut their cable cord and now use Hulu Live as well!

A Bible Verse that we often find ourselves quoting a lot whenever things feel chaotic is Jeremiah 29:11 which says:

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."  - Jeremiah 29:11

However, just like many other verses, context is something that isn't necessarily considered when reading this verse as Rebecca goes deeper into explaining the background behind the verse. You see, Jeremiah was a prophet during the Old Testament which means God was speaking to Israel at the time. Of course, this isn't to say that God doesn't have a plan as that couldn't be further from the truth. But this whole idea that prosperity and wealth await us is also a false notion as God never promises us that we'll be rich, healthy, or even succeed by our societal standards.

In 1990, the song "Hold On" by Wilson Phillips rose up to the top of the charts and as Jeff was watching Dancing with the Stars a few years back and that's when he found out that China Phillips, the lead singer of Wilson Phillips is actually a Christian. After doing some spiritual stocking (Jeff's words), he learned that she came to faith after watching her brother and sister in law come to Christ. It just goes to show that yes, sharing the Word of God with our words is important but living it out in our actions daily is making more of a difference than we know!

Jeff is not the best when it comes to planning date night, but this weekend he vowed to change that. As he spends more and more time with his wife not bombarded by television, technology, or even their children, he realized that he LOVES spending time with her. This naturally led him to think about his relationship with God as well.

Can we all agree that this was probably the most boring Superbowl of all time? Yes, it might have been cool for some to watch Tom Brady get his 6th Superbowl ring and break a record, but for many, this was a horrible experience especially since the commercials weren't particularly good either. However, the culture behind how this game has been planned reveals a major problem that many of us don't seem to see.

Teaching children responsibility is a primary task for parents. The question of whether or not an allowance should be paid for completing chores requires parents to consider training in two areas simultaneously: responsibility for work and responsibility for money. Jen Wilkin joins the show to share about a recent article she wrote for the Gospel Coalition!
