Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis. It typically affects the hands, knees and hips. According to the study, the progressive condition currently affects 15 percent of the global population over 30. The study found that between 1990 and 2020, cases of osteoarthritis rose to 595 million from 256 million globally, an increase of 132 percent. In Canada, the issues went up from 1.8 million to 4.1 million over the same period, according to the study's author.

A study by Deloitte Consulting last year found that the average bill for back-to-school shopping in Canada was $700 per student. In contrast, a survey released last month suggested the cost of school supplies has increased 24 percent over the previous two years amid inflation. This year, the firm expects consumers to spend less than $597 on school supplies as people across income brackets deliberately try to pull back on back-to-school spending.

A recent survey revealed that 25% of Canadian kids need more sleep. Canadian guidelines advise that children between 5 to 13 years should sleep 9 to 11 hours each night, while teenagers should aim for 8 to 10 hours. The survey found that a significant number of kids are getting less sleep than what is recommended.

A Facebook group based in London, Ontario called "Are we dating the same guy?" has recently gained attention for its efforts to promote safety for online daters. However, a man who was featured on the page has filed a defamation lawsuit against one of the page's administrators. 

Kicks for Strength is hosting it's inagural charity soccer game on August 27th. The event aims to raise funds for the Cameron Harvey Machado Memorial Fund, honouring it's namesake who lost his battle to mental health at the age of 25, will benefit MINDS (Mental Health Incubator for Disruptive Solutions) of London-Middlesex.

Trump's motorcade arrived at a D-C courthouse early and once inside, he was formally arrested and charged with four counts in connection with his effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election.This is the third criminal case brought against Trump in less than six months.
