Mothman is a cryptid that is said to inhabit the area around Point Pleasant, West Virginia. He is described as a man-sized, winged creature with red eyes. Though sightings of Mothman have been reported since the 1960s, no one has been able to capture him. Some believe that Mothman is responsible for the collapse of the Silver Bridge in 1967.
