This inspired him to acquire the globally-recognized title of “Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt.” And with this invaluable knowledge he facilitates and trains management of manufacturers in these two disciplines. Witherspoon believes that the way companies survive is through change. Continuous change involves the entire team and employee base having a leadership attitude of we can do this. Witherspoon believes that with a quick-changing world, entrepreneurship is the way to succeed. He also advocates the mindset of supporting “people, planet, and profit” - an ideal fit for the Polk Institute Foundation.
