Welcome to Season 3! We are diving right in with a very intimate conversation today about creating your life. I am here with Sandy Critides, and we are holding nothing back as we dive into our motherhood and life journeys. If you're looking for a conversation about having the power to choose differently, this show is for you.
Together, we are very transparent about what we've chosen for ourselves and in our motherhood journeys. We talk about being the parents we wanted to be and putting a lot of thought and intention into these roles of our lives.
You will hear us share about what we thought was "normal" due to our upbringings and how we have chosen to course-correct in our own adult lives. We talk openly about out therapy journeys and remaking pathways for ourselves including the work that goes into changing habits and patterns, recognizing them and the self-awareness required of us because of the future we believe in for our children.
Sandy and I talk about creating our experiences, making deliberate choices, and reparenting ourselves while parenting our own kids. We also talk about apologizing, being mindful and curious, changing mindsets, and setting boundaries. Tune in this episode to hear more!

Where shall we begin? I loved taking time to tap into my 3 top lessons in the last days of being 33 before I step into year 34. So today, we will dive into those as a lot of things have shifted, big time, for me this year.
Also, if you've ever felt a little sad around your birthday, you are not alone. I'm opening up about what feels like one of the biggest birthday shifts (kind of ever) …inextinguishable joy. It's new. And I like it, a lot.
So let's dive in! Cozy up and let's chat about how my relationship to birthdays has changed, the importance of self-compassion, and my top 3 lessons from 33. I'll also talk about finding the right support that we need, sharing other people's gifts, and cheering for a better world. Let's get started!
Note: I say "un-extinguishable joy." Yes, it's actually inextinguishable. Oopsie.

I Guess Haven't Learned That Yet
I used to think that podcasting was unreachable for me — that other people could do it, but it wasn't something that I could figure out, afford, or do myself. Well today, I have a Top 10% podcast! So I'm sharing everything I use, my philosophy on podcasting, how I create 2 shows a month, the most frequently asked questions I receive, the benefits I deeply feel from it, and parts from a pop-up studio session in The Lab where members could ask me anything they wanted and we brainstormed together.
Here's a little bit more about me if you are new here!

I am working on my own goals, and I'm here to walk right alongside you with yours! Let's go!

Could your soul use a warm bath of permission, storytelling, and love? Just in time for the start of September, you will not want to miss today's show! I'm here with Molly Crouch. Molly and I talk about her experience of realizing the pace of her family's life needed to change. We dig into making the right decisions for yourself and/or your family regardless of unspoken pressures and expectations. We also talk about Molly's coaching journey, what it looks like to be an empowered woman, and the slow bleed that is comparison. Tune in to this episode to hear more!
Molly Crouch is the founder of In Her Company, a blog celebrating the strength and grace of women, the beauty of friendships, and the power of our influence. She is a mom of four, with ten years between her bookend kids, and lives in Charlottesville, Virginia. She believes in gathering, connecting, and truth telling, and that every woman has a story worth sharing. She also thinks that comparison is a slow bleed, friendships that make space for inspiration, affirmation, and encouragement are important. She believes in rest and margins, the practice of gratitude, and that laughter, Pinot noir, and girlfriends' weekends can probably fix just about anything. She believes that a woman is known by the company she keeps.

Today's episode is dedicated to the new moms and future moms out there. We are talking about "reinventing who you are" after the baby. We are talking openly about fighting the lies that depression and anxiety tell you day in and day out.
This is a mental health episode today, and I always say the same thing: It's sometimes really helpful to hear this, but if you're in a certain place, it might not be, so come back later if that's what's best for you.
Britt Davis is a mom of four and lives on a farm in Greenwood, VA. During the pandemic, she picked up a paintbrush for the first time and has since been using her art as a platform to discuss difficult topics, such as mental health issues, anxiety, and PPD.
Britt and I talk about her best friend's passing, our experiences with perinatal and PPD, the difficult side of motherhood, and the importance of reaching out to others. We also talk about Britt's art, spreading positivity into the world, and some helpful resources for those who find themselves in the pit. Tune in this episode to hear more!
