Hey, y'all!!
We back!! How are y'all? DM me on Instagram and let's catch up xoxo. Today, we are back with a rather solemn episode- we are discussing grief. These past couple of years have been crazy, especially with the pandemic; folks are grieving all types of situations whether it's a loved one, opportunity, health, life without restrictions, or jobs. It's been a lot. And I have the perfect guest to discuss this topic; Abi Shotade who lost her husband at 31 leaving her with three kids. She recounts that experience: how she was able to navigate her faith, how Christians can support other Christians through the grieving process, trusting God when you don't understand and lots more.

In this week’s episode, we have Brittany Mobley. Brittany is the Founder of Culturit Public Relations and Design Co., a boutique public relations agency that creates visually appealing stories and strategies that allow brands to pivot. Following her departure from a public relations agency in 2015, she began a freelance public relations practice and in 2016, she officially formed the CPRDC agency. Working with a leading credit consulting expert, Brittany, along with her team were able to successfully clear the media market in their local community, while allowing the client to pivot.
We discuss how she was able to grow her PR agency to six figures during the pandemic while being a first time mom and securing her masters degree. This is a super inspirational episode. Feel free to send me screenshots on Instagram of some of the gems you picked up from the episode.

In this week’s episode, I have Frances Armand. Frances is a public relations consultant whose work specializes in the fashion and bridal industries. She is the CPO of Armand Consulting whose mission is to help clients become competitive powerhouses through brand development, special event planning, publicity and marketing tactics. Armand is also the CEO of Fashion4Brides where she assists brides in finding the perfect wedding dress, wedding planning and implementation and bridal press coverage. In her spare time, she hosts the Modestly Awkward Podcast where she dives into discussions on how to stand firm in your beliefs and live a modest life in a fast paced society.
We discuss her experience working in the fashion industry as a woman of faith; dealing with pressure from societal standards and trends, whether modesty is strictly restricted to your outward appearance, femininity and feminism. It’s a super insightful episode for women of Faith looking to make their marks in industries such as fashion, beauty etc.
