  • Motion to Emotion w/ Dr. Joe Lavacca

In a Telehealth world, making connections is an ever important skill set that all relevant clinicians now need. With limited physical contact, how can we establish trust, rapport, and deliver the results we promise with a limited toolbox?

Dr. Joe Lavacca, Physical Therapist, Movement Coach and RockTape Instructor, lays out the science behind “soft skills” and reveals how this paradigm shift may be for the better, by forcing us to recognize there is more than just a body to every human being we interact with.

This conversation goes far beyond how to stay relevant in Telehealth, and calls into question many of the tactics we’ve been led to believe in terms of patient care. The lessons shared, however, have much more far reaching implications to anyone who wants to improve the way they communicate and interact with others no matter what the context of the relationship.

  • Extreme Authenticity w/ The @Woddoc

Welcome back to The Movement Underground Radio! This episode is with a good friend, fellow RockTape Instructor, and Chiropractor/Strength Coach, Tim Simansky.

Wanna play Call of Duty with Tim and I? Full disclosure, don’t expect us to be professional…we will be talking shit…

    Mike - Doctor_Dasardly 😂

    Tim - CaptColeman

    Stay frosty….

Tim and I had a lot of fun chatting about his career as a chiro, building social media brand and business, living your best life, and being unapologetically authentic every step of the way. Its no wonder we became fast friends when we first met a couple years ago.

One of the qualities about Tim that I admire most is his Stoic mindset, and unfiltered approach to life, business, and social media. From the genesis of his alter ego, @woddoc, to practicing in Kuwait for nearly 2 years, to learning how to fly planes then jumping out of them, to “slaying bitches” in Call of Duty, this conversation was not only fun, but really insightful and inspiring in many ways.

You can follow and reach out to Tim on his social media channels @woddoc, or if you are in the Boston area, check out his clinic @BIRPTherapy for more info.

Thanks for checking out this episode! We will see you next time! Please remember to subscribe to the channel if you like what you hear, and feel free to leave us a message or comment!
