The Movie Connection

A new short episode where Jacob and KC answer two questions: "What Disney Animated Classic should get the live-action treatment?" and "What animated feature should get a sequel?"

This week Jacob & KC revisit "The Thirteenth Year," which depicts that tumultuous time in our youth when your voice changes, you start to produce your own electric current and you start sprouting fish scales...at least that's what coming of age means for teenage Cody Griffin. Though we can't all relate to turning into a mermaid -- sorry, mer-MAN -- there is plenty to connect with in this classic DCOM. email: [email protected]

Join Jacob & KC as they review the DCOM "Can of Worms" directed by the same guy who thought "You Lucky Dog" was a good idea. Yikes. The story is intriguing enough at first...but then if quickly veers off into insanity.

Join Jacob and KC for a stelanarious adventure in this DCOM starring Kirsten Storms. Sassy yet intuitive teenager Zenon Kar faces challenges both in space and on the ground. They examine some of the visions of the 21st century that came to fruition and some of the style's, trends and slang that didn't make the cut. You are sure to have fun -- MAJOR -- reliving this stellar DCOM classic.  email us at [email protected] us on InstagramSpotify

As a special stocking stuffer this holiday season, Jacob and KC are revisiting the classic DCOM, "Twas the Night," starring The One Who Knocks himself, Bryan Cranston. Before he shaved his head and started cooking meth in the sensational series "Breaking Bad," he was growing out his beard and getting in the Christmas spirit. " Should this quirky comedy make it's way into your Christmas Movie Canon? Let's find out.... email us at [email protected]

Just in time for the holidays, Jacob and KC revisit one of the best from the golden age of DCOM's, "Halloweentown." Things get spooky for a young teenager and her family after their grandma, who turns out to be a witch (played by Debbie Reynolds!) reveals that she hails from a mythic realm called Halloweentown, where Witch's, Ghosts, goblins and all other manner of creatures, live in harmony. Follow us: [email protected] Spotify

A minisode in which Jacob and KC each recommend five movies that they discovered while surfing through the Disney+ library. There were plenty of movies that stirred up fond memories, including such classics as "The Black Cauldron," "Blank Check," "Tuck Everlasting," and so many more.

Jacob and KC dig into the second DCOM, "You Lucky Dog," starring Kirk Cameron as a Dog Psychiatrist...or is it Dog Psychic? Apparently the two titles are interchangeable in this 90 minute televised decent into madness with performances that are for the dogs.
