The Movie Hour

We have returned! With the Academy appropriately shunned, the Movie Hour Gang convenes to talk the latest. There is a lil' talk of Oscars during the Hoopla, as well Iron Man 3. Jim reviews "Silver Lining Playbook", Greg talks some handsome "Jack The Giant Slayer", and Jeff discusses "Butter" and "Battleship". The Movie Hour kicks off it's official Movie March Madness! Enjoy the show everyone and thank you for listening.

This is not a real Movie Hour. The Gang is divided on how to proceed as brother James is lost in Florida. While they wait for the real show, Greg talks about "A Good Day to Die Hard" and Jeff talks Parker Posey's Play Alongs. The studio brings guest host Josh in for further discussions.

With birthdays past and Valentine's Day approaching, the Movie Hour Gang talk news in Hollywood. Die Hard 5 faces Beautiful Creatures and Zale faces broccoli. It's just another normal day in Gunga Pit Studios! Happy Heart Day everyone!

Don't forget about Die Hard 5! The Gang talks about Super Bowl follies and what could be for the Star Wars universe. Greg apparently reviews "Hansel and Gretel ; Witch Hunters" with little to no vomiting. Quiz Master James brings us the final installment of the Lost in Translation format. Thank you all for listening!

Dogs and cats, sleeping together...mass hysteria! J.J. Abrams signs on for Episode 7 with hopes of resurrecting the franchise. Jim focuses on reviewing the title "Ted" and Jeff throws down the Seal of Approval on "Beasts of the Southern Wild". He also talks "Savages". Thank you all for listening.

The Movie Hour endures the freezing cold in the middle of flu season. While Hollywood sits in the January dead zone, the Gang talks about Important Studios and Jurassic Park 4. Greg takes a long look at "Life of Pi" and discusses it's Oscar hopes. Jeff goes around James' helmet and produces a head-to-head quiz. What chance does Greg have against the Quizmaster? Enjoy the show everyone!

Awards everywhere! The Gang briefly talks Golden Globes and starts pointing fingers at the Oscar nominations. Greg gives a serious explanation of "Dredd" and "Zero Dark Thirty". Then brother James tackles "Shrink", "Castle in the Sky", and provides another classic quiz. He also brings us this week's PPPA. Thank you all for listening!

With Oscar releases imminent, the Movie Hour team talks credentials and criteria. We discuss "Oscar bait" and move to the dead zone for movies, otherwise known as January. Jeff brings us our PPPA. Enjoy the show!

As we take our first steps into the New Year, we bring back what got us this far. The Movie Hour team of Greg, Jim and Jeff unite to talk about movies. Jeff discusses his escapades during the last couple of weeks and reviews "Robot & Frank". Jim reviews "Lawless" and Greg delves into "Django Unchained". Welcome to 2013 everyone!

From everyone at The Movie Hour, we wish you a happy holidays and a fantastic new year! In memory of Richard Dawson, we pull together "top men" to go head-to-head in our 2012 Family Feud with an ending...you'll have to see to believe. Jeff joins us in spirit; thank you for everything. You are the best!
