2004, what can I say? Not much, so I will tell you about the films we are reviewing. 'Primer' is a crazy little time travel piece, Laurie tries furiously hard to explain it, but Wyndham and James are having none of it.
We also look at 'Dead Mans Shoes' and head home thoroughly depressed...
There is also the usual plethora of features...

The Lock down continues in the Lighthouse and Laurie tells us about his film ideas, we hear about some terrible films, review a terrible file (CHUD) and finally get to talk about a good one (This is Spinal Tap), and it was so excruciating we had to record it twice.
When will it all be over???

Wyndham takes the reins this month as he guides us through the lovefest that is DC. We all partake in a little poetry whilst giving our opinions on ‘Scott Pilgrim Vs the World’, ‘Once upon a time in Hollywood’, ‘Night Hunter’, ‘Aladdin’, and ‘The Stranger’.
We look at ‘V for Vendetta’ and ‘Swamp Thing’ and what do you know, Wyndham throws in a quiz for good measure!

James is looking a little pale this month, it could be because he has been bitten by this months subject, Zombies!, but it’s more likely his reaction to Laurie’s review of ‘Rise of Skywalker’. The films in question are ‘Rec’ and ‘One cut of the dead’. Wyn talks Ad Astra and we discuss how far you can go back with a prequel until it has nothing to do with the origin story.

Laurie attempts his very own spin off show today as he invites Jason and Terry to help him review ‘Rise of Skywalker’. He also gets a young person’s perspective as Laurie’s ‘number one son’ returns to the Lighthouse to add the most insightful bit of the whole review! I know there was a reason we didn’t let Laurie leave the lighthouse on his own…

The Lighthouse Keepers are in full festive swing this month, James has prepared an incredibly difficult quiz with the help of some friends, play along, if you get more than 5 points I will be amazed.
We discuss ‘The Mandalorian’, ‘War of the Worlds’ and His Dark Materials and throw in a bit of ‘The Irishman’ as it’s the only one that’s actually a film.
We go back to a simpler time, when all you had to worry about is slowly shrinking out of existence, or a demon coming to rip you apart. Yes its 1957….

It’s business as usual at the lighthouse this month as the keepers choose a couple of films from 1974. Things get chilling as we review ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’, things don’t look much better in ‘Death Wish’ where the biggest question seems to be whether Bronson can act or not…
We also give our movie recommendations from ‘in The Beam’ with ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’, ‘Kill Chain’ and ‘Possum’. You are welcome…
